Thank you for posting, Keith. Missed chances was the notable difference between the two sides; Clitheroe’s results will be heavily dependent upon the performance of the pro, that much is clear.
One positive to take would be the young wicketkeeper. He really looks to the manor born. I'm sure the batting will come given he opens for the seconds?
You're right. It's always worth reminding fielders, particularly young fielders, not to take on the kerb. I think it was put up in the 1920s or 30s when players didn't throw themselves about. What the cost would be to completely remove it and relandscape the edges I hate to think.
