Even though this failure was probably caused by improper Cutlass installation it would be nice to know the hours of use before failure considering the expense involved.
That's the result of bad managment and lack of supervision during the assembly of critical components . Moreover some compônents were not checked for QC before assembly. That's bad.
Yeah, my thoughts as well, someone stuffed up, with 7000 hours on the clock those cutlass bearings should have been in very good shape. My guess is cheap material and misalingement along the supply and deliver chain. I know of at least three other Nordhavn of similar sizes to this having issues re delivery voyage issues that would raise eyebrows as the problems were not minor.
