Thanks for your honest review. i was thinking about the 1750 and you actually helped me decide against it which means the review was honest and did it's job. Here in Australia they are AUD$4,000 which is way more than the U.S. cheers
We’ve had this treadmill for a year and half now. It’s been great, however it’s hard to recommend. Already had to have the deck replaced twice due to it cracking. It’s a very cheaply made deck. When the technician came out to fix it, he even said they started using a thinner deck recently. When there’s no problems with the deck though, the treadmill is great and I can get my long runs in no problem.
Awesome review. I just ordered this treadmill, although my console looks completely different and my incline goes up to 15%. It guess they changed it for the 2022 model.
I wish you would have covered using this treadmill without the iFit app. I still have no idea how limiting that is (or isn't) with any of these machines which have iFit embedded.
It’s crazy to think a treadmill won’t be that great despite being $1,800… like you said in this video that it could be better but it’s only $1,800… that’s insane
hi bro, what do u think vs profoma 1295i? u must have it for a while by now, does it have any issue , it is reliable? does it vibrate much when u do the running? thinking of buying one . thanks
Thank you, I appreciate your review, six months ago I purchased an "Ancheer" treadmill and the motor overheated so now it's junk. Tonight, tired of messing with it, I decided to buy a NordicTrack a brand I trust but it is a little too expensive for me. I paid $1,300.00 on ebay. It is $300.00 less than on Amazon. Again, thank you for your honesty in your review.
I know im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my login password. I love any assistance you can offer me.
@Jericho Jayce i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im trying it out atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
First, not a bad review. However - the other thing about cost is that now you pay $40 or so a month for the iFit thing. So that now adds to the cost (about $475/yr). Lets face it, iFit is a gimmick. You yourself say that you set your pace and incline and go (and vary as you see fit). That what most do on a treadmill. I don't need Barbie or Ken rooting me on while I'm doing my workout. Also, I hope you don't ever have to call Nordictrack's customer service. Maybe you should try that as an experiment to get a replacement hand rail plastic part? What is the Warranty? I am always of the mind set - pay once cry once. I would have opted (and I have) for a more durable piece of equipment (in my case True Treadmill).
I would like to add that to me, ifit isn't entirely a gimmick. Being able to run along with someone while they tour places around the world is pretty cool....to me atleast. That said, I understand where you're coming from. I have not decided if I will get a nordictrack or not, as I've read lots of terrible reviews. Both the terrible reviews on the quality and customer service have me pretty scared for as much as they cost. You mention how you got a true treadmill, could you make a recommendations in the $2k budget? *Edit, I also believe in your motto about buying quality. Durability is about the most important quality I'm looking for.
I'm from the old school, no internet, no bluetooth, no Ipads!!! iPhone does all that,(Walkmans will do too) and a treadmill that's foldable, clocks 10mph, and can take a beating everyday!! Is that too much to ask??
Thanks for this. I'm a very big dude and was looking at this as an option, but I'm noting that even though it has commercial in its description, I am definitely looking for something that will unquestioningly take the punishment of me just walking on it. ...guess I'll have to save 5k, God help me... :/
Maybe start out with a diet? Obviously consult a doctor to be safe, but the Keto diet helped me drop from 198 to 158. The thing is, you gotta get on and off the diet properly, and itll leave you with a metabolism that packs on pounds if you dont put in work to fix it. Your joints gotta take the punishment too though, if worried about a treadmill's abilities, which is why I bring up the idea of diet first maybe.
I am 6'3 190 and I like to jog and sometimes sprint would this treadmill and motor combo work well? 30min run everyday. Also keeping it upstairs so would like the keep squeaks to a minimum.
It's actually pretty quiet. At low speed, it's very quiet and at speeds 5+ it is not bad. Not as loud as the peloton tread but of course you will hear the running sounds at high speeds. Overall it does pretty good with noise. No squeaks or deck noises when I land. Just the motor and belt which is pretty good for a treadmill. I feel like the 2450 might be slightly beefier for your height/weight combo. That one just has an upgraded motor and a larger touch screen. I am 5' 8" and 160lbs and it is pretty fine for me. At some times I do feel like a higher motor would be nicer on interval training (bringing up speed quickly). Otherwise, it is still great for the money. At your height and weight and if you plan on doing sprints I would highly opt for the commercial series at minimum, you will definitely notice the difference. If you have the money the 2450 will be a better model HOWEVER the 1750 will do fine if you want to save $500.
This is a pain in the ass to use, iFit makes everything 10x more complicated. I can't get Bluetooth working for my heartrate monitor connected and support is minimal. The treadmill itself works well and was easy for me to put together.
Whoa, you must be using it for walking? They say it needs 8' behind, so you don't knock yourself out and get a concussion or worse from slamming into the wall.
I weigh 165lbs and the treadmill does not jerk when running. My dad has the t series and I noticed the belt jerk and wasn't smooth sometimes, but I can definitely say it is not the case with the commercial series.

@@brandon20904 that seems crazy to me though! It can’t be good for the screen... I am just going to shut it down until they push an update in the app or something
@@kelsey7383 That's what I do because there seems to be no timeout for the screen. They need to add it in the settings. I hope they add it in the next update.
@@yolernlimn3574 yeh that's what happened with my treadmill with 1 out of 2 bolts not fitting in however it is still useable but will just rock when you lean on it
Thank you for your review, I watched it and purchased the same treadmill. The machine itself seems to be great. I would like everyone to know that I tried to cast my ifit on my flat screen and received a message to contact customer service for a code. I did and was told the code is not available! Casting and/or using the tablet in privilege mode "may" remove your warranty and that I did not purchase the software just the machine. For me this is ridiculous, I don't want to change your software I want to cast it and be able to use other apps on a machine I paid thousands of dollars for! Thought everyone should know this...
I'm between Profrom Pro 9000 and NordicTrack Commercial 1750, which one should I go for? NordicTrack Commercial 1750 charge $199 for delivery fee, which kinda sad
Get the NordicTrack Commercial 1750 if you haven't purchased anything yet. Proform Pro is made by NordicTrack. You'll get more features on the 1750 and I really like it. Call them on the phone because I was able to save 500 dollars by getting a 5% discount. I got half off on the 4 year warranty making it 179.99, and I got 250 off on the iFit 3 years. I really enjoy the iFit and use it everyday.
I bought a 1750 in 2021. The machine is essentially useless at this point and out of warranty. I start a workout and usually 10-20 minutes in the machine starts acting haunted. It will slow right down then speed up then stop and speed up again. It will continue acting crazy until the end of the workout. I thought ifit was cool but it's not worth the horrible quality control and terrible customer service you'll get from Nordic Track. Buyer beware. Worst company I've ever dealt with.
I’m new to the world of treadmills because I’ve always run outdoors, but is there a brand at this price point that does a better job holding up to wear and tear? Or at least offers longer warranties? Because while I’ve heard the same exact complaint about Nordic Track everywhere, I have also heard the exact same complaint about every other brand I’ve researched so far. Is it hopeless or is there any brand that actually makes a reliable comparable product in this price range?
@@ladygadventures4144 I have been watching other reviews and they say no. Only ifit. There is one that does but I can’t remember which. I think it was Sole F85.
@@brownvirtue Thank you, I 'am looking for it but i think i can just bring my own ipad with me and watch the netflix ehehhe, im thinking to look at fb market to get 15% treadmill incline.
It is very disappointing to spend 12 minutes listening to a review on a treadmill and never say one thing about the size of motor. You say seems powerful enough- what a great time to say what size motor is in it.Motir size would be a fundamental when choosing a treadmill. Also you say you put it together but never mention how long it takes or the difficulty.I appreciate you efforts but for 12 minutes the important stuff is lacking.
