Thank you for 1000 Subscribers! To celebrate, I wanted to revisit the first video on the channel, a lap around the Nürburgring Nordschleife in the insanely fast Red Bull X1. This time, I wanted to get under the magic 3 minute mark, something that was made possible with an improved setup and more practice with the car since the last time I tried this.

Thank you all for 1000 Subscribers! Old Monza with 4X power is still being uploaded later today, but I wanted to do something to mark 1k subs, so I've gone back to the Nordschleife in the X1, the first video I uploaded to the channel, except this time its a bit faster, and finally under 3 minutes!

If we want to replicate this in IRL, we would need tires and someone's neck as strong as tungsten to do so. This was a really fast lap.

I recall in GT5 the X2010 and 2011 were vaccum cars (probably here as well); taking kerbs destabilizes you a lot and you run the risk of spinning, so it's adviced not to touch the kerbs or the least possible, same goes for the Karrusel.

I've driven the Redbull X prototype car on Gran Turismo in the past, and it is nearly impossible to drive (unless i'm just bad). So to see this sort of pace on this track is insane!

This car is quite upgraded compared to the gran turismo one I think, and also finding a good setup is super critical to make the car a bit more drivable

Just a lot of practice tbh, and playing in VR actually helps a lot with getting a feel for when to brake and turn in etc

@@whitehavencpu6813 The version in this video (S2) has over 2,000 hp. My current WR with it is 2:39.8xx. You can see he did at least 315 mph (507 km/h). The 1,766-hp version (S1) does less than that. yeah, there are cars with not just more power, but higher top speeds. The thing about this car though, is down-force and acceleration, along with low drag as it uses a fan to get that down-force. That's why it can take corners at insane high speeds.

I think the biggest changes were raising the rear ride height to the max, front ride height to 50 I think, and then the tyre pressures were also inflated to the maximum pressure
