I think some are forgetting that these are “wish list” items… these are nothing you have to buy but you can draw inspiration from them and find them discounted somewhere else. I always loved making a wish list them picking out something that is a great deal or a classic investment piece. Every year it’s something different. It’s just one video guys. They cover economical and more expensive brands. If you don’t shop this store maybe don’t watch it. But again, you can draw inspiration from these ideas. I think a lot of people get confused that “influencer “status means a social media influencer on You Tube can shop starting July 11 this year ; not so, anyone who has a Nordstrom credit card ( no minimum spending required) can shop the “influencer “ starting day of July 11. July 15 shopping starts for anyone who does not hold a Nordstrom card . They should change the name of the “influencer” status since it is confusing nowadays.

I agree. That is confusing. When you shop has nothing to do with being on YT. It’s all about how much you spend annually on your Nordstrom credit card. We do not get any special privileges to shop the sale. No one at our local Nordstrom even knows we are on YT.

Nordstrom used to be so classy now it’s just another run of the mill store. I think it’s suffering. Went in the other day and the sales people were so grumpy. They used to go all out with their customer service. No more. So sad.

I remember when Nordstrom first opened! It was the store to go for best selection of affordable footwear and they use to have even a a lower price selection in their ‘Bargain basement’ - but they moved far away from that model and became very pricey even on sale! I found look alike Chelsea and tall faux suede similar boots at Target. Crate and Barrel use to be supper cheap when they started -my mom recalled when literally you would pick items out of the crates and barrels. Its rise in home decor popularity in the 80’s-90’s turned them into a very expensive retailer! We don’t shop at either anymore and haven’t for years. But enjoy the video!

I can’t afford Nordstrom even when they have their sale. Do those items ever make it to Nordstrom Rack? I have the exact same ( looking);black striped sweater, but, I got it on Amazon. This is the second year that I have put very few, if any, clothing items on my wishlist. I think some of the beauty exclusives, like the two for one deals, are the best. The Mother and Rag and Bone jeans are crazy expensive, even on sale! I have been a Nordstrom shopper since the late 80s, but I get disappointed at this sale more and more each year.

The Chelsea boot is not comfortable at all. I purchased those last year and they hit you right in the top of your foot by your ankle and it is so uncomfortable. They needed to be a little taller so they didn’t hit you in the wrong part of your foot.

I enjoy the sale and usually find a couple pieces I wear for at least a season if not for years. But let’s not pretend these are great prices or deals: They are at best a small to modest discount on heavily inflated prices.

Always fun to watch your videos. But, most of these items even on sale are higher than I spend on clothes. Norstrom Rack is just "okay." I will never give up my 2 classic London Fog belted trench coats....a real treasure I found both at a thrift store for next to nothing. I bring one when I travel usually in the early Fall.

We’re sorry you don’t enjoy the sale but just so you are aware, influencers do not get any priority when shopping the sale. Shopping dates depend solely on how much one spends on their Nordstrom card during the year. Nordstrom uses the term “influencer “ to describe a shopping tier but it has nothing to do with being a RU-vidr. We shop at the same time as everyone else does.

Nordstrom is suffering! Years ago they closed our Naples location and never replaced it all the way up to TAMPA. The Nordstrom Rack stores are messy and lack any good deals, unless you want the Asian imports. Just heard yesterday, they lack handbags for this sale.
