Is there a specific reason where I would want my dedicated IP to be located or not be located? Like are you better off using like Switzerland or a more VPN friendly compared to USA where I live?
Skip the slow speeds? well I was a nord customer since 2018 and I added 2 years of dedicated IP and when it does connect its way slower than the standard VPN..... I mean WAY slower.. I have gig internet with steady 940 down.. with vpn im 700-800 sometimes even 900 with my dedicated IP when it works at all its 100 - 200 but most the time it simply fails on all my machines.. Disappointed I paid extra
It is for the people who want to use a website say video streaming website or some crypto exchange which is banned in their own country. Now, if they use normal VPN with rotating IPs, these websites will ask them for captcha verification each time and can also block their access suspecting illicit activity. So, a dedicated IP from a different country is useful in such case.
@@cococodes I tried getting hold of customer service. For me the dedicated IP button within the app was not mapped with the one I purchased. They gave me server number to select manually. It matches the dedicated IP which I purchased. I would say it works 90% of the time. For some reason if the dedicated IP server is not available it changes to some random IP which I don't like honestly. If you can't connect to the dedicated IP then just disconnect.
