Why is getting a vpn on linux so unimaginably complex? On windows there's Nord and softetherVpn where I can just pick where I wanna be with a single click. I had imagined it would be LESS of a hassle on linux for this Linda thing, not worse.

hello. when i go to enter my login and password @ 4:27 as you did, im not able to edit anything. it appears to be greyed out. im only able to choose one of the five tabs at the top, click export and cancel. its a mint vm on proxmox if that helps. thanks

Great video but... When I try to "nordvpn login" I get this error: Rotating: transport rotator: ptr timer is locked. After consulting NordVPN, they tell me to reinstall. I did. After consulting message boards they told me to disable IPV6. I did. I am on a fresh install of Linux Mint 21. What am I doing wrong? I am on satellite internet, but does that matter? Thats why I wanted NordVPN. Cause Hughesnet throttles my speeds based on my activity.

nordvpn on linux mint in canada on tcp sucks balls. I have a 940/940 fiber connection and with nord on tcp I only get about 7 mb/s.
