DMX said in his first DRINK CHAMPS episode that this song saved his life and ever since I've been listening to this song thanks X for putting me on to this track RIP DOG
@@wrizzo27 i was 6 years old wen this song came out for some odd reason it makes me think a lot growing up in the projects seeing the negativity growing up and giving niggas chillin on the corner motivation by listening to this song
@@The__Chosen___1 yes it's true. A good decision as well. I heard Carl would come to studios selling weed before he got his shot. Can u believe that??!! 😂
I’m bumpin this on replay 4eva I’m surprised I’m just getting put on this...gotta thank my homie Chico for putting me on🔥🔥🔥🔥 90s was the best years to be alive
Who still here in ‘23??? CLASSIC, NOSTALGIC RAP, THE PERFECT SYNOPSIS OF AN UNFORGETTABLE AND UNREPEATABLE ERA🤞🏽💯 THE STREETS, THE GAME, RAP,,,, NOTHING WILL EVER COMPARE TO THIS ERA🙌🏽
I didn't realize that this album actually sold 165,000 copies in its first week of release and went platinum. My friends and I were bumping this album on the west coast in the late 90s and it did feel like it was sort of an unknown gem at the time.
This was my favorite track on the album...U miss a ni**a when u realize ur never gonna see him again hit home for me because my brother passed around the time this came out.
Salute Nore and his family. Originally grew up in Southside on 145st This song will only be felt if you experienced what he laid in this track! Otherwise, it's hotter then the 🌞!
“Had to learn how to slap box instead of a gat.” NORE’s preaching on this track!!! 90’s Rap is unrivaled. To all of you young and aspiring rappers, if you wanna become a legend and produce classics like this... STUDY THIS ERA!!!
If you've ever been in the streets (north Philly for me) when this song came out it was so powerful to us it's probably the first song that brought tears to my eyes real rap
My bro was playing this song on they IG and I had to go and listen to the whole joint... this song takes me to a time in my life when I was trying to find myself.... The beat is smooth, Nore story telling is on point and Carl Thomas put the icing on the cake....
One of my favorite joints, my boy is on life support right now and I'm here for that. You realize that you miss a 🥷 when you realize that you never gonna see him again!
“Yo, you realize you miss a nigga When you realize, you never gone see him again” was real then and still holds truth in 2021. Rip the soldiers we lost to war.
I knew who NORE was but didn’t know any of his music. When I looked obvi I had heard his hits, just didn’t know it was him. This is my favorite song I have found by him. It gives me strong ‘Sky is the Limit’ vibes.
A lot of ppl don’t know NORE was an asshole around this time! He would be mushing fans that wanted pics , fighting all the time still trying to go bck to the block n be cool with ppl that would pull him down then the money slowed up when he didn’t walk threw that “door” after he changed a lot and became more personable. Now is as successful and handles it a lot better through his growth and maturity. Sometimes we’re given what we need till we can handle what we want! ✌️
Rip Dre🕊️my brother from another who played this on repeat. Nore,,Dre was a real fan before the Internet and I never forget where we came from 💯🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️Rip Dre 😢this hit different these days
