475 managed to sneak into a few clips of the 50 minute video of 611, but here are the rest of the clips. 475 may not have been the star of the weekend, but there was definitely some stealing of the spotlight with its updated look. Also at the end, 8618 is sent down to Paradise solo in front of 611 to chase away some trespassers passed the overpass, definitely not an acceptable place to photograph from. 475 is such a beautiful locomotive. Wish they would return her original Strasburg livery around 2001.

Tiadaghton Valley Railroad and Coal Company 475 was originally delivered to the N&W with a centered headlight if I remember correctly, I guess they were trying to make it more authentic.

My guess is during the 1950s when 475 and sister M class locos were running when 611 was new they mostly all had the centered headlight so it was for time period authenticity, I’m personally not a fan but it’s still cool to see.

@@JasonSchaedlerVideos I like that hooter more than the other one they need to keep it on all the time it fits 475s new look better and the 3 three chime they put on it for the 382 charter occasion also they need to get a Virginian railway 5 chime for 475 too

i hate the fact that the first shot at East Strasburg his him trespassing on Strasburg property. If you had permission to go on their land gimme the workers name that gave you permission
