Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! I've been able to do a lot more nighttime filming with the DJI Action 4 I bought earlier this year. It's the first camera I've had that does well enough at night to make it worthwhile.

Hmmmmm, didnt know NS had trackage rights on RBMN, but cool night chase! I did night chases 50 years ago, on my nights off when i worked night shift, i got mostly audio recordings, as i didnt have a camera at the time. And now ive been diagnosed with Lupus, its when the immune system attacks healthy tissue, and i feel as stiff as a tree trunk, and like the skin cancer, sunlight just makes it worse. Now i appreciate those great videos from you and others even more, THANKS❗
The NS track runs parallel to the RBMN track through Lehigh Gorge. There are some tracks in Hazelton and Mountain Top that they share access to, but I don't know the specifics on it. Sorry to hear about your Lupus diagnosis, and I hope you can get some treatment for it.
@@JamieMakin well, ive been to several different doctors, and now they say its not Lupus, xrays & catscans didnt show anything either, i am hoping tomorrows ultrasound will reveal something, ive never had full body pains like this before. Yup!, H66 provides a little extra when you least expect it❗

I wish Andy would buy that track from NS. I rode it behind 765 on August 22, 2015. And the track through Weatherly looks like a nice track to do an excursion on, but R&N can't touch it with an excursion train unless NS sells it to them. Were those freight cars destined for the R&N or somewhere else? There were only 4 covered hoppers and one white tank car. Does NS still serve customers in Hazleton as well as R&N?
All of the NS cars go to the Hazelton yard, then get delivered by NS to local industries. As far as I know there's no tie-in with any of RBMN's customers.
How long did you have to wait for the train to arrive at each stop? Was your route longer or did you just barely make it? That was cool! I especially loved the view from the cab! How awesome was that?!! Can only imagine the view from that standpoint, I bet it's amazing. Thanks for sharing.
It varies - sometimes I get there just in time, other times I have a few minutes to set up and pick an ideal view. I've learned this route well enough recently though to know what is and isn't doable on the days I chase.
