“Behold” is the name of the song. It is the battle cry to energize Spartans worldwide, and as expected, it also energized this crowd. What an entrance Spartan Legion! Take NO Prisoners.
The only thing missing that makes this a grand entrance was hot ice. They have there own unique march leading the way. First time not seeing them marching in on Behold.
I just watched 2nd Annual HBCU Band Awards:A Celebration of Culture & Competition. Looks like my video was used from the 2022 HBCU culture Battle of the bands Charlotte North Carolina. NSU won best entrance 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 🗣️ Behold 💥
O T, you did it again🔥 you seem to have an 👁for the 'Legion" marching in, good seat👍 . I've seen a few of your videos and they were spot on too. This one captures the band tip-toeing in, letting half the band in, delivering that shocking sound of the brass🎶, full stride, loud, but not over powering. That symbol solo, when the entire band is in, the lifting and swaying of the gold symbols in the air. I've seen a few shots of this already but yours i must say, shows what some might have missed. 🗣🗣🗣🗣 crowd cheer at the end tells us it was AMAZING!! Job well done as always, NSU 💪.What y'all 🤔, let me know.
Thank you, l appreciate it! When selecting my seat, I saw last year's HBCU Culture BOTB where the band marched in, I knew when it was NSU's turn, they were going to bring down the house, like when they killed it vs A&T 2019💥. So I made sure to pick my seat in section 115👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Your attention detail is great too, must add, " The Legion" marched right in after the Wakanda Forever tribute 👏🏾💪🏽💥📸🎥 . It was the perfect intro.
HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED THEIR PASS AND REVIEW!!! THIS IS MY SECOND FAVORITE HBCU BAND!!! THOUGH I DO LOVE THEM ALL. 💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💛💚💛💚 BEHOLD THE MIGHTY GREEN AND GOLD!!!
Not what I was expecting but great entrance after the "Wakanda Forever" tribute. I was thinking that energized drumline tunnel but hey, the crowd loved it 🗣️🗣️🗣️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💪🏽💥
@@justlookin9458 idk why people say AND lol its a term that was derived from the military that we use when a new commander is inspecting his troops for the first time, hence the reason its called a PASS-IN-REVIEW, he reviewing his soldiers as he would inspect them right b4 we head into battle/war
Are we talking about the line that usually ends with the scream (I don’t play trombone) like around 2:55? I kind of like it with the mellophones cutting through instead, it adds a different sound. But I do miss that older version as well, because it was like the icing on the cake.
@@Tboneman35 the scream is there but because of the arena and the camera not in front, you can hear it. But I prefer the Mello more, after all they start the “call to battle”
@@TomazHilton It’s fine, there’s screams and cool trills in the rest of the music so they are straight. I just think the darkness of that mello note complements the trombone line really well. Still arguably the best opener of any marching band. Highlights exceptional musicianship, intensity and makes everyone stop what they’re doing to appreciate the full presentation. Nothing else like it.
Best in show hands down, they sounded and looked amazing, the guy i sat next too had never seen the Legion b4 and he kept saying i want a gold helmet now, how have i never heard this band before
