That's not how the 2nd dimension works. 2D blood exists. Plus, in Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, there was originally blood and dead body tape around part of the house of the guy who robs you at the start of the game.
There was a gallows in the middle of Rogueport. The game opens up with Peach walking into town, and there’s just a full noose and gallow set up in the center of the screen, completely unobscured. TTYD went hard as hell for no reason
@@Chara_Dreemurr1 there’s a difference. I’ve played all Mario games but ttyd, when he usually flies, he’s just, blown away. In Mario and Luigi paper jam, he’s flapping his arms, in a clapping motion practically flying.
In thousand year door he can glide, he folds into a paper airplane. It’s not technically an ability he had originally but rather one he gains on the adventure.

@@brolytriplethreat Well yes, they did make jokes about it, but it wasn't as bad For instance, Mario wasn't LITERALLY paper. Paper Mario 2, he was folded, but that was it. In Paper Mario 3, he saw everything from 2D, but that was also it. They had a specific element to play off the Paper thing. Nowadays, the most powerful weapon in the Mario world are things like scissors, stickers makes someone SUPER powerful, colors are their blood, and fire burns them worst than what it already should.
@@SpoonAtNoon I feel like the idea was there, it is just done differently now. Bowser literally tapes Kammy Koopa into the intro, the Goomba King's tower unfolds into a bridge, the stilt guys fall down and unfold their stilts. In TTYD the bosses pretty much go for a diorama look, I always felt like the world had that look as well. Not to mention Flurry blowing away fake walls(or even a fake plane of reality covering a pipe) or a bridge being created in flip book format. What the modern games do is shove it down your throat and throw weird real world items into the world and won't freaking shut up about it(64 doesn't really overtly talk about it aside from the intro with the aforementioned "Bowser taping Kammy Koopa into the story so he can change it", which makes sense. To them, this is normal, so why should they constantly be talking like "Hey, did you know we're paper?" When that's essentially like someone in real life being like "Hey did you know we are flesh?"), but I feel there was always an element of "this is a magical paper Storybook world"
Actually both will die if bowser still had the cut, bowser will feel pain to death, and paper mario will die bc water collides paper, paper will be destroyed 🤓
@@Feller19 regardless of the original line, from a medical perspective, getting a that deep a paper cut on your jugular would likely be at least slightly more effective than getting one on your head or lower arm.
I'm kinda terrified of paper mario, the turning 90 degree shenanigans in his games kinda implies that in a fight he can just go 2 dimensional. Mario could be running at you full speed and you'd never know
Put sugar in the cut. It becomes infected and bowser will be forced to cut off his own arm to avoid dying from the infection. PS; I don't think Bowser's the type of lizard that regenerates.
@Poet Night I think it's a reference to a "criminal" who tried to rob the bank with lemon juice on his face because he thought lemon juice makes things invisible (for some reason)
Honestly a heavy-yet-paper-thin-yet-athletic-man would be horrifying to be hit by since they can basically stab you with the force of a punch strong enough to break bricks

Bowser has never ONCE been able to withstand lava, lmao. He always turns into Dry Bowser when he falls into it. The only times he actually “withstands” lava are when he turns Giant.
