You deserve an award for the Best Tutor of the Decade. I am taking the test the second time and your videos have been a life saver. I find it better than other GRE materials.
Dear Tutor, I understand concepts well but when I appeared in GRE, specially, in the second section of quant, I could not do well. And my timing problem I think also is a fact, but I struggled to understand the strategy of some questions to solve..and also for verbal, it was bad..If you have suggestions for when doing good in the first section of quant, how to do good in the second harder section, please share your suggestions... thank you
Been telling my friends about your videos, they find it super helpful. We have been anticipating for your next video, can you please post more often. More power to your elbow man. Thanks.
I'll be taking my GRE in 4 days. I have been watching your videos for the past month or so. Your effort is much appreciated, you're a great teacher. I'll continue to support your channels.
Your videos are most helpful , specially on those days when I am tired after day's work and don't wanna open books to study or practice. You are awesome.
Whoohoo got the bonus question right in my mind... I wish there was more stats on GRE - I had an attractive stats teacher so it's the only class I paid attention in lol
I solve questions from practice sets and write down all the topics where I got the answers wrong. And at the end of the day, I watch your videos on those topics. All my doubts cleared! 😁 Thank you!
Hey Phillip. This is by far the 3rd video I have seen. You are the best at elucidating the GRE concepts!!! But your videos are limited. Try to make more such videos. A true perfectionist. 💯
Watching this one currently and got a notification that you liked my comment. Again thank you for your hard work. I am honestly not good at math, but your simple explanations give me hope.
I came across your channel an hour ago and this is the first video of yours that I'm watching. Thank you so much! I'm so glad you've made it so easy to understand these concepts. I'll be taking the GRE in another 20 days and I'm really freaking out. I keep making silly mistakes and get really really anxious when I look at the time while taking mock tests. I'll be going through the remaining of your videos. Thank you so much!
Really enjoying your videos and mustsay that the first thing I do when I open RU-vid is to check your channel for new GRE videos. Hope I can implement these techniques on my upcoming GRE. Thanks a lot!! Make more videos like these.
First of all this was a truly helpful video and thanks. I don't want to seem like a braggart but I got that 170 Q question correct and still I am struggling with some other questions, and I think that the hardest normal distribution questions are the ones that try to trick you with pure concepts such as the 'indicate all such statement' questions, and not the ones which require you to calculate an answer.
Heyy thanks for such great explainations for both standard deviation as well as normal distribution videos. I was solving practice questions on standard deviations and normal distribution and wasn't able to solve 6 questions in a line. I got frustrated and searched on yt. Saw your video first and you explained so well and now I am able to solve almost every question that to correctly😄😄 thanks a lot.
Awesome. Remembering the percentages of each deviation for the normally distributed curve made the last question easy... Just a few simple additions and subtractions to tell what #s separates each deviation... Thanks! Also remembering that 2nd percentile/30th percentile/x percentile corresponds to that percentage (2%, 30%, x percent) on a normally distributed curve.
Great pedagogical skills. I appreciate this, and would request to increase your no. up uploads per unit duration. This would be a gift to so many students
Omg, does it count that I was so close to the answer? I figured out the first two steps and did something else from that point. This was really enlightening, though. Thank you so much.
@@TheTestedTutor hey would you please make a video about mock test? Like how many mocktest we should give or, from where, and how to log my error etc.it would be beneficial for us
Hi Philip, I'm a big fan of your videos - love the simple and thorough explanations you've provided for a myriad of topics :) I've been watching your videos for a few weeks now and I managed to get a perfect score in quant in my last two mocks. I'm planning to take the GRE in 8 days from today. Just wanted to check - is there a video or a couple of videos where you've summarised all the important concepts and formulas that a test taker should review in the last couple of days before the test? If not, any chance you can make one?! Eagerly waiting for your answer! P.S. I will write a thorough review for your wonderful videos once done with the test (irrespective of the result). Thank you!
Hey, I haven't summarised everything, there is a bit too much. But a perfect score is insane, well done. My advice would be to focus on not making small mistakes and being rested rather than hunting down any super obscure topics though...
Thanks a ton for your prompt reply and amazing videos, Philip! I took the test last week and unfortunately scored a 167 in Quant, despite scoring 170 in both the Power prep tests. I was really hoping for a 170 so a bit disappointed there. I think I got put off by the experimental quant section, which was quite difficult. I usually finish and revise all or most of the questions within time but this time I couldn't even complete the experimental section in time (I'm guessing it was the experimental section because it went pretty bad and even a 167 wouldn't be possible if it had been scored). That affected my performance in the actual quant section and I somehow barely managed to finish the last quant section. Could you guide me on how I can best prepare for a perfect 170 in another attempt about 3 weeks from now? I had done the OG and OG Quant and Manhattan 5lb this time. But I don't know how accurately they represent the difficulty of the second quant section. Should I revise them all again or is there another resource that I could leverage for the higher level questions? I don't have the detailed report yet. Also, I scored a V161, roughly in line with my mocks. My weaknesses are spread across the topics haha, so any advice on how I can possible increase my score by a few points in the next few weeks? I had done the OG, the OG Verbal Reasoning, and about half the RCs in the big book. Sorry for the long message - I am really hoping to score in the 335 range so I can try to get a good scholarship. Thank you so much in advance!! - A big fan of all your concepts, tricks and advice :)
Hi, I have been following your videos regularly, and thank you very much for the detailed explanation and tricks. They are very helpful. HI, that was a very informative video o Normal distribution. In q1 it is not mentioned as normal distribution so we cannot determine the answer. What is the answer if the distribution in Q1 is normal? I still believe the answer is D, because even though the distribution is normal, we have no SD and there is no way of telling if 50% is greater or less than 38. Please, correct me, if I am wrong.
Hi, Can u plz do one video on Coordinate Geometry ? I really suck in that and anything I read on that topic goes above the top of my head. EDIT : My exam is next month so it would be really helpful if you upload video before that.
