I can't begin to thank you enough. I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to read a Z table. Even watched Anneberg Learner videos and couldn't grasp it. Then I found this. Thanks!!!
This video is very helpful! I missed my statistics class because I was in the clinic and we have an activity about this that is GRADED. I was literally about to cry then I found this introduction to the z table. I am truly grateful! 😊
Thank you!! you saved my life. I was about to drop out of college and become a stripper because of my neglectful professor. Thank you so much for this video.
@@ABHISHEKKRISHNACHANDRA i'm currently having the same issues. My teacher provided a table like this too. But this is different from the tables I've searched and watched. The positive z-scores will usually have a plus 0.5 on every area in this table. While the negative z-scores have entirely different area values. I also noticed that a negative z score will give an area ranging from 0 to 0.5. While a positive z-score will give an area ranging from 0.5 to 1 I noticed too that by using the table presented in this video directs to a different answer from a ±z table system. Which I think is an obsolete table used in studies now.
That is the 18.3% on this table. This table refers only to the positive half of z scores, so in order to include both positive and negative values in your calculation, just bear that in mind, and subtract or add 0.5.
