Good Morning Carlo and Nicki. As I was watching this, Carlo, your words really touched me. It is VERY IMPORTANT to say goodbye and I love you to everyone before you travel or just in general. My niece was tragically killed in a car accident and Sunday was her service. So as I watched your video with tears streaming down my face, I felt as if you were speaking directly to me. Your videos have given me such pleasure and have gotten me through some dark times. I've followed you pre pandemic when you only had 30,000 subscribers. It's a joy to see how your channel has grown and see the blessings that have been given to you and your family. Please know that what you are doing matters to people. As a 64 year old who has had 2 heart attacks in 12 months but fortunately had a good hospital 15 minutes from my home, I wonder how the people of Positano access their medical care. As Carlo said we should be thankful for every day as we get older. I’m on the road to recovery and will be back at work soon.

I love that your breakfast coffee mug is larger than the cereal bowl. LOL. You'd better be enjoying Harry's jams. Holly may be reaching a mass of followers that will soon require an international fan club of her own. It is lovely that people send drawings and such and am glad Holly has a particular benefactor from abroad. It is good you have Skye & Luca among others to help collect ripening produce and feed the cat while you are away. What is it about that one walking path that Holly so hates? Yes, Carlo, you are so right! It is important that we greet one another when we leave the house and return home, acknowledging the presence of a significant other in the home. And it is important that you say hello & goodbye to your parents when you're going on a trip. People need a hug & a kiss. We need to touch our loved ones. Somehow we can feel if they are alright from touching. We are animals and need no less touching, hugging, etc., than we give our pets, for goodness sake. But, I think I saw some store-bought fruit on your parents' dining table!? They were fruits you are not growing, so I guess someone shops for them. LOL. You are so right that none of us knows when we will see one another again, or if. Again, so right: there is nothing so wonderful as to see a calm, sparkling sea with blue sky and warm sun above it. I guess it's that the sea is our mother element. Nicki, when we were children & our mother was getting us dressed in outerspace-like snowsuits to go out & play in snow after storms, we had clips on the cuffs of our sleeves to clip our mittens onto, so as not to lose them while not wearing them to drink a cup of hot cocoa, etc. Why didn't I think of a hat clip for a shoulderbag or other purse? I'll bet a pretty penny can be made from something so simple, yet useful. Without servants in attendance, I don't think people expect travellers to be without some wrinkles or mismatches. You could always use a suit bag for shirts & skirts, but that's a lot of extra luggage to tote, esp. as you two travel as personal servants to two travelling pooches. LOL. It doesn't look too tourist-clogged on the streets you are driving upon to Piano di Sorrento for the vet's papers on Indie. The greenery in the vase looks lovely. It's sort of "weeping."
I’m glad I’m not the only one who wanders around waving a “magic wand”to ward against spiderwebs. 😅 years of cycling round my parents’ garden and getting splatted in the face by then have left me somewhat phobic and definitely cautious! 😂
This is so beautiful out there, great video! One thing I am starting to learn is some Italian phrases that are kinda similar to Spanish. It is such a sweet language!
Re: your papyrus stems - if you put them upside down in a saucer of water (change it every few days) they should root from the centre of the top - giving you new plants (if you want them). Have a good trip :)

Hi Lia Carlo here, obviously we have no idea why you are or have been socially isolated, but that doesn't matter, what is important is that you are no longer isolated because it is clearly not good for your health, certainly there are people who love solitude, or are convinced that they love being alone, however it is not for everyone, life is short, much more than what we think when we are young, and for some unfortunately it is even shorter, what I mean is that we have to "work" to understand what we really want to do in life, what is really important to us, and try to get it, if we fail we must not feel defeated, but we must pick ourselves up and try again, without ever giving up, life is not easy at the same time the same way for everyone, some are more unfortunate than others, but staying positive and never giving up is the only way to have a full life, even if you are unlucky! 💕😘👋
