Hi Carlo here, thanks for the question, and thanks for the answer, you can't believe how satisfied I am when this happens; Someone who answers in my place, but not because I'm lazy, but because I know that someone has been attentive to the previous videos, creating interaction with the "newcomers". Thank you very much!💕😘👋
I live in the SF Bay Area and it seems we have very similar weather. We get tomatoes into October some years. Your eggplants looked amazing. (Aubergine) Do you grow the green Italian zucchini? I love that stuffed. One of my all time favorites.
I've been watching since Nicki was filming vertically on her old phone and never once, right up until now, have I ever been bored with a bit of it. I feel blessed to be invited into the day to day happenings of a genuine family with all the bits and pieces of what comprises a full unvarnished life.. Keep the updates coming, please. And thank you for all the beauty you bring us. Grazie mille. M
That vid went so quick. Never think of yourselves as boring. Luca in the garden, Elizabeth on a boat ride, a trip around town to rescue footballs & restock some books, a cooking lesson & trip to Celine’s! You guys could never be boring. 😊
So one day i was having an internship with bunch of ppl and instead of saying hello to everyone i said hello everywhere so everyone started laughing at me , i love you guys
Hi: NEVER BORED!!! Please don't think that, ever...we love coming along on all of your adventures, especially this one...imagine..you may be Tuscany neighbors soon, and starting a whole new life...and it couldn't happen to two nicer folks! We'll keep everything crossed, say our prayers, and it will happen!
American girl here! I love catching up with you guys all the way across the world every Sunday! Its always a great pleasure to watch the community of positano .Thank you for taking us along with you guys! Carlo if you are reading this you are a complete joy! Your light that you shine into this world is beyond amazing! :)
Hope you get good news next week re your property. Also watch Sarah, Luca and Luce and they have been going great guns with the painting and decoration of their new home in Sicily so fingers crossed 🤞 for you both. Carlo…how is your lovely son, the chef, getting on? 🏴xx
Hi all you lovies..loves... My gram who was from Ukraine and legal in America. Her ss was 25.00 a month.. She had beautiful gardens.used a lot of lime Blessings from ms Usa
Nicki and Carlo! You don’t need to apologize about anything; we all love you just the way you are and how you handle the different situations in your life! May God bless you always! ❤❤
Nicki, don’t compromise on what you want for your new home.. You’ve compromised all along the way and now deserve your vision. And your reasoning is sound.
When you guys sit down to explain the details of what's going on, or to share how you cooked something, or ANYTIME you give the backstory for what you're doing, just makes your vlogs so much more authentic and personal. Dont stop doing what you're doing!! Thank you for another perfect Sunday vlog!!
2024 Living in New Zealand 🇳🇿 Italy 🇮🇹 there is truly something to be said about the beauty of Positano. Nicki & Carlo your family your oasis of a home quietly tucked away and exquisite. THE ABSOLUTE BEST. ❤...😊 It's going to be difficult to beat 💓
You are never boring!! This new plan of yours is brilliant. A house ready for your old age which is decades away and a place to escape Positano when it empties out in winter and fills up to overflowing in summer....and of course those stairs. I look forward to the very first time Nicki pulls up to the front door in her car and unloads groceries straight into the house. Promise me that you will capture that moment on video. Love to you both, Suzi
You two are never boring! Enjoy seeing and hearing a few highlights of your adventures with family & friends. Your gardens are bountiful. Luca is a master gardener. Wishing you well with your new home purchase! Extra pets to Holly, Indie & Kitty🐾💛
Nicki and Carlos- so enjoy how you live, in your gorgeous hilltop house. Fresh produce, doggies, adventures and love of each other and nature. The village of Positano!! Wow, amazing to me. The difficulties and density that have been overcome to build this village. Catching up on your videos since finding you- not boring at all Carlo. Refreshing to see real life not perfect insta ready curations. 🥰
Your harvest from the garden was simply wonderful. Even lemons picked up off the ground looked great although Carlo kept the best for his Dad. 🍋😊 Will pray you get the house you have set your hearts on. ❤🙏 So happy your book is selling in all the different outlets.🍋👌
We love anything and everything you post - walking a million stairs, eating with your parents, the garden, tootling around Positano, hearing how Nicki's book is going, eating out, Bluestar, Skye, THE DOGS!, HARRY!!, and, currently, anything you want to share about your hunt for a second home. In fact we were just saying this morning, while we waited for your latest post to be ready, that we wondered how the progress on the home you want was going. We hadn't asked on RU-vid or Instagram because we knew it was probably very stressful waiting for everything to be resolved, so we were very happy to get your update and are crossing all our fingers that it goes smoothly from here on and the house in Tuscany is soon yours. Cheers from the Cowichan Valley, on Southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada!
Getting your ball back as a kid is such a big thing. Hands up if you had a spiteful neighbour who used to keep them. I love that you took them back and lovely to see the artificial pitch - looks lovely. We couldn't get over the good quality of the soil that Luca was rotavating! I had to pause the video to say OOOh I recognise Celine's house from the front shot. Fingers crossed for the complicated house sale. 🤞
You are most definitely NOT boring. I enjoy the authenticity of all of your videos. Thank you for allowing us to share in your daily life. I look forward to having breakfast with you, Carlo, the doggies, and everyone else every Sunday morning. I wish you the best of luck in your efforts to buy your home. Thank you again for being one of the bright spots in my week. 😊
You’re never boring! I love watching house hunting and renovations. Speaking of which, isn’t Luca and Sarah’s house amazing?! They’ve done so much so quickly, and little Luce is adorable. Looking forward to your new home journey.
I hope everything is working out with your property purchase. I learned early on when I bought my first house in Italy in 2011 that there can be MANY people on the deed, mostly family members, and that selling a house can get complicated when they all have to agree on the conditions of the sale. I also learned that in Italy a house can be inherited by the children automatically upon the death of the owner(s) without it having to be in a will. Personally, I think this is smart. Looking forward to getting your news on how this goes. God is always in control. Love and hugs from Liguria. 😘 Baci
You are NEVER boring! This whole process is fascinating. We all live vicariously through your life in Italy. Can’t wait to experience your renovations in Tuscany (I know you got the house! I saw your most recent video before I watched this one). Congratulations!
Carlo & Nicki: you are never boring. I wish you lots of patience and understanding for whatever decision will be made. You are thinking this through very thoroughly and cautiously. It is a very big decision for you. Much love!
Nicki and Carlo your videos are never boring! It's always an adventure, where ever you are and whatever you are doing, I'm sure everyone agrees with me. Thank you for bringing us along with you to this new phase of both your lives in Tuscany. It will happen for you. ♥️🙏
Yes Nicki, I have been keeping up with Sara, Luca & lovely Luce making their new property into a home and watched their channel grow over 80,000! subs in less than 3 weeks. It has been insane. Wishing you and Carlo find that perfect property. Do enjoy! the process of searching and don't let it stress you out. BEST WISHES!
Wow, Elizabeth went to Palinuro!!! SO many wonderful memories for me there... I'm now 72 and I trained as a multilingual secretary (French and Italian) in the early 70s and in June 1974 went by train from Paris, where I was living, to Club Med Palinuro. There, I fell in love with a beautiful French-Algerian GO (gentil organisateur - I was a GM, gentil membre!). I returned to Palinuro in the September for another week, and we were together when he returned to Paris... until he had to do military service in his native Algeria. Then I moved to Athens (and learned Greek), and Ben continued his career with Club Med. NOW, after a long career in the hospitality industry, Ben is back in Paris and lectures at the luxury hotel school in Bd Haussmann, my old street! Gosh, I could write a book. Italian was always my very favourite language, and I always intended to live and work in Italy. My very first job was with Arnoldo Mondadori, the big publishers, in their Old Bond Street Office. They were going to send me to Verona but the Paris job came up. Like you, Nicki, for many years I had that wonderful Mediterranean life, in my case going off to the Greek islands or else to my boyfriend's place by the sea, where we had a little boat and would go up and down the coast or to little deserted islands, for picnics or taverna lunches. Such a beautiful lifestyle, and I miss it, now I'm up in the northeast of England. I absolutely relish all your and Carlo's videos and am seriously considering volunteering for Luca and Sara in Siciliy! Thanks to your introduction to those two beautiful people, they're also way up there among my favourite RU-vidrs. Sunday is my favourite day, visiting you in Positano and then LEAW in Sicily (at the moment). First time I've ever commented on your channel. My actual name is Glynis. I did have a place in a village called Caldana, in the province of Grosseto, south Tuscany, about 15 years ago. You're talking about Tuscany as I write this, so I must go back and play it again as I've missed the details! But how exciting for you! Can't wait to see more on that. Keep up the good work... :) Sorry I'm so longwinded. Diagnosed with ADHD recently. Verbosity is a trait.
I'm so excited for your new property in Tuscany ❤ I will say a prayer you get your second house. It will be so exciting watching this next step in your lives! You are not boring, a very beautiful life and I think everyone enjoys every video. Fingers 🤞 ✝️
It was lovely to meet Holly, Indie and Carlo Monday morning as I was waiting at Piazza Capella in Montepertuso for my ride to Sorrento to catch my trains to Roma. Holly was so soft and enjoyed getting a pat (I saw her first and said hello), Indie was too distracted by the cat for pats and Carlo was his lovely self. I loved my stay in Montepertuso (but not the steps😂). Meeting the dogs and Carlo was a lovely surprise as I didn’t expect to.
Not boring, very enlightening about the intricacies of home buying in another country. Hang in there Nicki, good things come to those who wait, God bless. Great vlog as always, keep things honest, most people don't appreciate direct honest communication. Love you guys!
Och, so sorry about the delay in getting the Contract signed for your home, Nicki, I am certain it is all written in the stars and all will be well soon and you will not have made all the plans for nothing. Thank you for sharing this news with us all. A great week to you all and keep well. Until next Sunday 🥰
Your videos are never boring. The gardening and cooking segments were full of good information. I hope you get to purchase the house you desire. I love your dress, NIcki.
Your explanation is definitely NOT boring!!! 😃😃 Thank you for sharing your lives with us. I love that you both are on a beautiful journey together. Love your transparency and honesty. Can’t wait to see this all unfold ❤
I was very happy to hear an update on your possible new property. Not boring! I love seeing the gardening and cooking clips also. I'm happy to see you both looking well and sharing your life with us.
You could never bore us, it is all fascinating and exciting, it will be wonderful coming along on your journey as we are with Sara, Luca and baba Luce. Another excellent vlog xx
I remember my dad gardening when I was a child and in his eighties across the farm from their house, the farmer who was 90 were friends and gave dad some land to use for gardening.
No need to apologise Carlos, it is such a very difficult decision to make and is certainly not boring! Having moved from a remote island in Orkney, Scotland to the mainland of Britain I know how difficult it is to find your special place that is entirely your own. To own your own place, that is not belonging to anyone else is priceless! Fingers crossed you are successful, it it an amazing property!
Crossing everything crossable that this property closes with no further delay or mishap! The photos on the rock were very worthwhile. Glad you didn't end up in the water. Lunch made my mouth water. See you next week.
I think the light is different now, nice. Your gardens are so nice to see . His brother works hard in the gardens doesn't he. I love to here Carlos speaking.
Hello Carlo and Nicki! It's so wonderful to hear how your house hunting has gone. It's always so exciting to make new plans that involve your future. I understand when you said you wanted to make your home with YOUR PERSONAL stamp on it, Nicki. Carlo is very handy to do so much of the renovations... calling on professionals to do these remodels can become a nightmare right, so having Carlo take care of that, is wonderful. We're excited for you both!!!!
Never bored, Carlo, and I love listening to you speak in Italian hoping to learn some! I am wishing you luck on the home purchase. Can’t wait to see it if all goes well. Nicki, one day I wore one black and one Navy blue shoe to work and they weren’t even the same heel height. 😂. I pulled them out of the closet in the dark.
I was not bored in the least listening to your situation with trying to buy a house. It's so wonderful that you care enough about us to share your life's experiences. Sending up prayers that everything goes well so you can get the house of your dreams. And then all the fun for us to see what you do with it.
Your explanations are never boring.Recognised Celines house. All the best for your house. The photo session with Elisabeth was good.A day weeding working in your vegetable patches is therapeutic .Thank you
Good video as always. Just for the record. My grandad, who was a farmer, told me about the use of manure for feeding plants. It works well. For those of you that have stinging nettles that works well too. Cut the nettles into large container. Fill with water. Use diluted, very important. 1 feed to 10 of water. Borage also works. Good old fashion ways that work and do not harm the environment. Best of luck for the house.
I'm so glad your book is selling Nicki, it's a joy to read. Have you tried fermenting those yummy cherry tomatoes, amazing on Bruschetta or pizza. I am always excited to see Luca planting out the next seasons garden. He is so capable. The news on the Tuscan house hopefully will be everything you hope for and bring a new balance to your already amazing lives. The kids of Montepertuso must think there is a Soccer Angel. Blessings to you both, Elizabeth, Skye, the puppies, Celine, and Luca, Muffy from Oz
🤞the house purchase has been successful. Remember buying a house one of the most stressful things you can do. Great idea to do some forward planning for the just in case scenario’s. I used to live in a seaside holiday spot in the UK and you’re right, high season is a pain as it takes twice as long to do anything as of course the holiday makers are there to relax and have all the time in the world when you are carrying on your normal daily life. Really enjoyed this vlog, it was like a magazine, varied and interesting. ❤
The gardens always look amazing, he is such a hard worker. Does Carlo's parents have many stairs where their house is located? Good Luck with the house.
Your videos are never boring. I could listen to you two talk all day!! Excited to see what the future holds and all the new adventures you will have in your new part time home. Love from Canada 🇨🇦
I did buy my book at the Blue Star when I was there in July, when it was a extreme heat wave, 😂 and enjoyed it very much, love my weekly visits to your Channel! 🙂
I am keeping my fingers crossed for you! I will be so happy for you to get the house and see what you make it to be yours! Love your videos and explanations! Hugs!❤
So exciting, fingers crossed for you guys🤞🏽 I would love to have a garden one day, it must be such a good feeling to produce your own food. That dinner looked so delicious too!
Sell that book. Gorgeous lady🍋🍋 You deserve the best!!! And look at the earth so. Rich n dark in the garden enriched over the years with LUV. From. ABOVE. So happy you are home safe and can enjoy the Italian coast September/October. Will less crowds. Sending hugs 😘🙏🏻💜🌷😘🙏🏻💜🌷🦋🦋🦋🦋
My Sunday night is not complete without watching your video, even though it's almost midnight here in the Philippines. 🇵🇭 ✨Italy is my dream country to visit and explore! Hope you get the property and can't wait for renovation videos soon! 🙏🏻✨
You guys are great! Love your videos. Good luck with getting the house in Tuscany. I totally understand wanting peace and quiet. We’re retired and moved to a place that is small and peaceful. You will love it❤️
