Unless they nerf Haste, Wizard's will be mandatory in each party, how else can you counter Haste? I'd love for Cleric to have some sort of spell that strips spell buffs from a target

wizard having an invis buff makes no sense. you don't let the glass cannon disappear on command. it's worthy of a nerf

@@Ihitjoo rogues can go invi too, they are faster, they have faster interaction speed, opening portals and closing doors, plus they stab you in 1 second, rogues and rangers where the most played and best class in this playtest, so stop whinning. the worst clases where the barbarian since melee is very clunky and cleric

@@ivanbertuleit3057 Rogue has to sacrifice a perk slot just to move a few steps and then must wait out a cooldown. Wizard can recast invis immediately and can freely move for the entire duration. No way is that comparable. Most played class is irrelevant in an alpha that was most players' first experience with the game. Barely anyone knew what the meta was before the week was up.

@@ivanbertuleit3057ude have you ever played wizard they are literally better than rogue. They can haste and invis after which also gives a movement speed for some reason and ignite dagger makes them a threat to rogues outside of spells

almost as if your main attack is ready any time you click! Imagine only getting 20 swings but you could recharge 5 swings every 30 seconds

@@shanefield7339 you mean the main swing that has like 4 feet of range, 6 feet if using one weapon? That i have to be running at you with, which gives you a chance to just gun me down like a dog with magic missile, or fireball, or zap, or lightning bolt, or… not to mention, you can go invisible, you can enchant your own weapon or others to become as deadly as a rogue, you can haste yourself to run away. You know what i can do? Swing a sword, and heal a little on demand once a dungeon run. And sometimes move a bit faster every like 30 seconds.

@@thecookiemeister5374 Yes, that is exactly what I mean. They both have versatility in different ways. The great thing about it though, you get to choose which class you want to play. If you like the versatility of a wizard, you can play that class. If you like the fighter's versatility, you can just as easily play that one. Hell, I hope this doesn't raise your blood pressure, but you can ALSO choose a ranged physical dmg character! (although the fighter can do that too). It's just crazy that they made it so every class can do something special.

@@thecookiemeister5374 heal, can use any weapon, can break barrels, can be a monster in melee and drop back and use a bow. Tons of HP and can be heavily armored. Can use a shield to block arrows and magic missiles. Tons of utility. Every class is unique in their way, and some match up better and worse against others, the nature of life.

its the difference between hitscan and projectiles. hitscan hits whatever it aims at like a bullet,point aim fire. but a projectile is something like a arrow, slower travel time so aiming infront of a moving target is smarter. i hope i explained this well

it's not totally gone. it was taken off for major updates. unlike hotfixes. these updates will be tested by the dev team themselfves. and a lot of good things will be added in. it'll come back in feburary

Split the player base how, and what bad habits? Solo lobbies could be fun, could be funny trying to be friendly with other randoms.

Split the playerbase into solo and group only content in a way would be the outcome imo. Tons of people, myself included love playing solo in group games. I find the under dog fights to be the best in the genre in DaD

I had 10 matches in a row where I was stuck between two 3 mans who ran basically right at me (not straight to me, but chose the path that leads to me, and I only had 2 ways to go, even when slow playing). Mind you I'd still play into groups as a solo, but I can see why people would want solo if they get that bad rng as well. So long as when they make solo lobbies (I read that they will be adding it) they make it so you can still join group ones as a solo, I won't really care.

It can be a great class but 95% of Wizard players suck including me.

@@bakeun7767 I wreck as solo barb man, every class has a counter. With Mr perk I tend to win mage battles if I get jump about 75/25 if they do. But a well geared smart wizard can beat pretty much any class.

Yes, it regains spellcasts. It doesn't necessarily refill all of them to full, but each meditation will give you a handful of casts back spread among your spells.
