For new guys, the STAR EAGLE ship (a reward from completing the freestar rangers questline, has like 90% of the parts , it’s free , it has the engines too, a very very strong shield generator (the same visual as here used). A very strong reactor and very good (2200) base cargo bays you can all fit in this build!! , forgot to mention you get some really busted EMP pulse weapons that do 0 dmg but completely cripple enemy ships to 0 power .. When home from work today imma hop straight in ship builder and modify my star eagle to this! ❤
@@Rhynocxadd Sarah to your crew if it’s within a couple LY of the number needed. Fun fact she doesn’t use up a crew management spot. Meaning if you are allowed to have two crew based on skill, she dies not count against that number. She does count as a “body” for ship crew capacity though.
Just a heads up, that extra room doesn't specifically need a hab to connect them, there are walkways at certain starship vendors that look very similar to the supports you were already using.

Is didn’t know Leonardo DiCaprio was a gamer. Cool ship, love mass effect. You can’t sacrifice cargo space though, now I’m close to 3000 don’t think I could go back.

@@VoxTheOne Yes, sadly. When it first launched, a lot of the community felt that the ending was very anti-climactic. Many also felt like your choices from the first two games weren't as impactful on the final game. There were pretty big campaigns and even a charity drive to get them to fix the endings. Bioware ended up creating a new ending, revamped the existing ones, and added Shore Leave later on. I believe it was due to the backlash.

Can probably keep the overall shape here while still upgrading to C glass reactor, grav drive, shields, and engines as well as weapons. Just can't do any of the 2x2 or 2/3 habs for more crew.
I just built a very basic version on neon with ES parts. Yours is by far better. I had to make mine a B because i was attempting to recreate the internal structure of the Normandy more than the exterior. Made it impossible to get the look you have here.

Very good video, was there an update to the ships in a later patch? my frontier breaks down to 2x White Dwarf 2000 engines and not 2020s, guess it doesn't matter if they are being sold anyway :)
Thank you! Some people mentioned after one of the recent patches a few ship parts have changed level requirements. So some parts in the video might be different than what you currently have available.
Nice tutorial. Don't worry about going too fast; that's what the pause button is for! I was pausing frequently while I switched to the game window to copy each step.
Great build i changed it so the braces were the spines from hopetown and added a infirmary and workshop on the sides..... Pffft jist watched the end of the video....... now i feel silly windows... Edit again. Use the spin corridors from hopetown they are just door to door tunnel for the gap looks like the brace.

As as hardcore ME fan, this was honestly a blast to put together. Really shows that Starfield has a relatively robust ship builder. Great content man. 10/10.
yeah it's been the ship I've used for the majority of my playthrough. By this point Ive upgraded nearly every part except the engines since theyre so good. And, the cargo hold it has is great early on since the Frontier and other starter ships are a bit tight there with around 400 capacity, while the Scarab has around 700. @@Bizzle94588
thanks for this, i used this with minor modifications to use Class B stuff so i can jump 30LR and for the better weapons and shield in future(cost me a little under 170k so far haha, still not gotten the shield yet prob will use the vanguard bulwark shield as its the best one until you can do Rank C(rank C has too many bulky grav drives and reactors tho, so best to stick with rank A or B, unless there are smaller ones you can unlock later) XD thanks again for the video
This is amazing! What a great guide. Thank you so much for going step by step for an easy follow along. Other guides I have seen don't have the detail needed to properly build it. It looks so great.
Its hard to assist without seeing what you mean. The Normandy is right at the edge of the 80 meter limit so any modifications to add length would push it over. The docker module needs to be the tallest thing on the ship so be wary of that. As for the unattached modules, it might be the weapons on the wings. Those can be hard to place.

Love the build need ro wait to get the landing gear my issue is the cargo 😢 im 3127/155 mass i was hoping thr Normandy would been a nice cargo/fighter ship

I love the video, but unfortunately I cant find some parts. The fiel tanks at akila city for example. My whole list is much much smaller. Also the shild generator is missing. Any idea why? 😊
Hey sorry to hear that. It seems one of the updates has changed the unlock requirements for certain parts, especially early game parts. Not sure why, but try leveling up more. You shouldnt need ahip design perks, i dont think.
I think the engines you prefer are level locked. I have points into starship design but didn't see them. I'm guessing it's because I'm level 18 and you're 27. I'll try leveling up a bit more and see if their inventory changes. Great guide though, thank you for making this

firstly, massive f`kin kudos for this, its stunning but..... followed the guide exactly but it wouldnt allow me to complete due to not enough landing gear and only allows 2 of each different weapons.
Thanks! The more parts you add, the more mass you pack on and the more/stronger landing gears you'll need. If you add on extra weapons or modules (especially cargo holds) before the third and final landing gear from New Homestead on Titan, you might run into this problem. As for the weapons limitations, its hard to diagnose without seeing your issue, sorry I cant be of more help.
@@Bizzle94588 AHHHHHHH i see... my fault totally then, i put bigger than you said in reactor and grav drv. she does 30ly and powers everything to the max. fixred it by adding 2 more wing strut legs, she still looks the same...ish. gonna tweak her some more and see what i can get.

It is possible, though Class C reactors tend to be much larger than Class A or B reactors. In order to keep the general shape, you'd need to do some creative reconfigurations, but I'm sure its possible.
I like your Normandy build I made my own. I just upgraded it to a class b ship, with plans on making/upgrading it to a class c ship. Of other Normandy build videos this one shows you where to get the parts
Great idea! I would love to update the build and do a Class C build. Right now I'm nearing the end of an outpost guide series which is taking up all my time, but I can't wait to get back to ship building stuff
If it also helps, your outposts can have a large landing pad with a ship builder computer. You have access to all manufacturer parts that way minus some parts exclusive to specific shipyards. It's how I've been building most of my setups
