I can understand why she may have felt some kind of way. I agree with you, it probably did effect her that way. There was probably more factors involved that were preventing Normani from dropping music besides her own mindset, but perfectionism really can keep you stagnant because you’re afraid to make mistakes/“fail”.. so you play it safe and do nothing.

Nobody in the comments (from what I’ve seen) mentioned that Normani’s mother was diagnosed with cancer and she took a break to be there for her mother/family. So yeah, the album was pushed back & music was put on the back burner because she had shit going on. But I’ve been a fan since 5H was still known as LYLAS and I KNOW how talented she is. So I was just waiting patiently for the music & I wish the fans that say they care about her would do the same. I understand fans that want to push her to succeed and be the next big black pop star, but I don’t want Normani to sacrifice her physical or mental for this industry. I’m proud of what she did with Wild Side. I loved the song, the choreo, the videography, everything! She showed out! Zach, great commentary as always. Your subscribers know you speak from a place of love & hopefully Normani is in place where she can see that too.

I made it to the sliding part and had to start over bc I was like, “Wait. Was she sliding the entire time?” I started over. Made it to the red room and had to restart again bc I felt the edges on my non-existent wig being lifted. Third time is a charm, right? Nah. The way I was waiting for this I was getting mad cuz you was taking mad long, only because I love your reactions. Sean Bankhead did what needed to be done and Normani is that girl Periodt. She always understands the assignment. Sean literally gives me chills his choreography is next level. This was a beautiful tribute to Aaliyah both with the 1 in a million sample and salute to Aaliyah's Red album that just celebrated it's 20th anniversary just as this joint was released. Normani blessed Aaliyah in away that most ppl can't. Choreography was Aaliyah's thing an I lived for that and then Aaliyah voice is very soft yet deliberate and I felt that Normani got that and then some. I literally got goosebumps watching the first time.

People have to understand that , it takes months to release a single , recording , getting approved by the label , finding an art director , learning the choreography, stylists , finding a place to shoot , editing , all of it takes a couple of months , I think camila thing was a coincidence cuz she has been teasing for longer , it can happen

@@misskennedymarie6183 well u know him and doja did a whole two videos on his channel there some of him most popular videos on his channel well basically they were supposed to do a whole video where he reacted to her new album planet her with doja but things fell thru because doja and her team were upset by Zach because when he reacted to need to know by doja he had critiques like saying that he wanted dance and corio in the music video which aperantly made doja and her team upset because he liked the overall essence of the video but he said he just wanted more from her in THAT music video and doja and her team took his tiny critiques in the song as "hate" and now the same kinda situation has happened with Normani thinking his critiques are coming from hate when He's really just wanting the Best for his favorite artist
