The Demon Deacons got an important win for the NCAA Tournament hopes, with an 81-76 victory over the Tigers. Wake Forest snapped a three-game losing streak by shooting 58.9% against the Tigers' defense, 65.2% in the second half. Hunter Sallis was the leading scorer with 20 points with three made three-pointers and 7-13 shooting overall from the field. Sallis also had seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Andrew Carr had 17 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals. PJ Hall led Clemson with 18 points. Chase Hunter added 17 points and three assists.

Our heels played great! We saw once again how dirty duke players can be like Filipowski! Him tripping Ingram then trying to deny it wasn’t intentional is like Grayson Allen denying any of his dirty plays! I’m not against hard play but how can you deny it when you got caught on camera!

I used to respect this Duke squad but Kyle Filipowski tripping Ingram was absolute BULLSHIT! To make it worst NO CALL, to sink so low to be the worst Duke player in sportsmanship of Grayson Allen, I hope the ACC looks at it like they did with Boehim and suspend him at least a game, utter disgrace.

Carolina over here tryna make a case for a 1-seed with both Arizona and Tennessee losing. If UNC can win the ACC tourney, they'll have a good shot at that. Either way though, they've locked up a #2 in the East or the South (whichever they might prefer).

I am seeing something I have not seen before while watching games, Duke did not match the Tarheels pace or intensity. Only one player for Duke matched that intensity from start to finish, Proctor. McCain seems steaky at best and I now understand why Roach is not in the league, yet. The big man for Duke hit a couple of three's but he is lazy in the box. Carolina should have won this game with a much higher score.

Duke led in the first game for a very short time. Time with the lead in the 2 games UNC vs. Duke this regular season: • UNC: 77:47 • Duke: 16 seconds (led 2-0 in the 1st game & that was it)
