Not really, but as far as I remember, there were available KCTV, Mansudae, Ryongnamsan, CCTV, CNN, RT and other few foreign stations

Mansudae TV starts its broadcasting on 19:00 PYT on Fridays and 18:00 PYT on weekends.

I assume this is to save energy as North Korea currently consumes less power than it did in the 1970s (!) It was normal for broadcasters in many countries in the early days of television until the 1970s or so not to begin transmission until evening - in poorer countries or those countries with small populations, this continued up to the 1990s even.

@@harrycrawfford7945 I was unable to receive signal of Sports channel in Koryo Hotel. There were only Mansudae, KCTV and Ryongnamsan available

I was supposed to be back in April for a while, but had to cancel my plans due to the work related issues. As soon as I get there I’m going to upload way much more professional videos from the DPRK, will do my best to record Ryongnamsan

They broadcast foreign action movies, but as I noticed it was during the national Holiday, after that they moved to regular schedule airing revolutionary documentaries mostly or performances by Moranbong / Chongbong / SMC bands

@@guimaraesmota3392 Olá vc tem que falar com um técnico. Para ele instalar. Caso você seja de SP eu passo o telefone dele. Como você sintonizar uma parabólica comum mas ela só pega do tronco de transcorder.

@@guimaraesmota3392 Só que agora tá mais difícil fazer instalação de antena internacional porque tem muito técnico trapiqueiro. Esse que instalar estala para mim é bom técnico. Mas ele mexe masculino apenas nacionais. Eu tinha dois canais da Rússia agora só tem um. Muitos técnicos não querem procurar em satélite. Um técnico que conhecia. Fazia isso mas eles aposentou por causa da idade. O Brasil é muito fraco ensinar de antena parabólica. Eu não pego muito satélite. Porque os meus de comunicação no Brasil não facilitam. ( Acho que com o governo atual pirou. Desculpa não sei se o senhor gosta do Bossonaro. Eu sou a partidário não voto em ninguém) Mas o mais irronico. Que o satélite que mandou final do canal norte coreano pra mim é dos EUA. Empresa de satélite que não quer saber de política. Vc paga eles enviam.

I wouldn’t say so, it’s FTA channel broadcasted and it’s even available online in Manbang streaming device (something like Netflix in North Korean style).
