Wow! You guys really captured the spirit of a location that is very special to me. It is the first place I ever camped back in the mid 1970s when it was just called North Lake. I've been back in all seasons over the years with good friends and eventually with my own family and it never disappoints. The scenery was famously painted by "Hudson River School" artists like Thomas Cole and Frederick Church. How wonderful that such a remarkable and timeless location has been preserved for all of us to enjoy. What a perfect place to celebrate your 25th anniversary! Clearly there are many more great times and roads to travel together. Congratulations and all the best!

To have your first ever camping trip here must of been an experience of a lifetime and hard to replicate afterwards, cause nothing compares… we’ve been to 26 locations this season and I feel as you do. My family and I was there in early July we had to cut the trip short as it rained every day we were there, when it wasn’t raining the fog was so thick you couldn’t see the anything,no joke. We still went hiking to all the falls in the rain and finally got to see the beauty of the place on the day we decided to leave. The sun came out that’s when we went kayaking and so did everyone else at the campground it seemed. Definitely returning next summer, already picked out some good spots.
That stinks. We feel your pain, we’ve had several of our weekends stunted by rain, but we’re glad you finally got to have some fun eventually 👍🏽👍🏽. before i say anything else,i must say this.if i was at that 3 level waterfall,the owners would've had to call the police to force me to leave this place!!!wow and that hilltop,..whoa!the expression on LEE's face said it all.and like i always say,keep your eyes open for bears.you 2 are awesome, but a bear don't care about that. lol.what a place ,and what a good job you guys did showing it too us.awesome!!!
You have to let us know how your trip goes , I’m interested in your thoughts seeing as you know a beautiful campground when you see one , case being ( Burlingame) which is on our top 5 list of the season. ✌🏽❤️
You guys went the wrong time of year. That’s a trick of a water fall. Go late spring or rarely summer and that water is gushing. The water fills up over those rocks at the bottom.
To each his own, I suppose. I did not like this place very much. I respect that you both did. I found the staff unhelpful, rigid, and cold, and the bathroom was a mess. That being said, I am glad I went. Keep up the great work, you two are winderful!
They’re probably tired of everybody coming from seeing it on RU-vid. Too many people coming in not respecting the place will definitely ruin it for everyone who lives there.
It’s under new ownership, as of last year. It’s a totally different staff, atmosphere, and campground in a whole. The NEW owners and staff are absolutely amazing people and they are extremely great full for the RU-vid promotion and vids. It’s helped with spreading the word of it being a new campground/experience all together 👍🏽👍🏽. You have to check it out THIS year.
Did you say 25th anniversary? Did you both get married at 16 or something? Your wife doesn't look anywhere near 40. BTW, my wife and I love that place.
