We stayed reasonably local to do some birding, looking around the wirral, Lancashire and North Wales. We saw some great birds, missed a few, and battled bad weather and mud.

Happy anniversary! 🥳🥳🥳Here in Sweden we got blessed with a Pacific Diver, it was discovered on Saturday and was still there today. That is a MEGA and one I went to see. I got some bad footage of it too, but nothing to be excited about. I am not as professional with my videos as you guys are 🙂

Well, I'm sure some aspects of that felt frustrating (especially getting stuck in the mud - I've been there), it's real life birding, so keep going! You still got nice footage of the diver. And even the Herring Gull drinking was pretty cool to see. Happy anniversary to you guys. We just celebrated our, too. Another good vid 👍

Absolutely gutted ive missed out on the barred warbler and long-tailed duck as burton mere is also my local RSPB reserve and I am currently away, will defo be checking out morfa madryn which looked like a great spot, spinnies reserve just down the A55 towards Bangor is one of my all time favourites as its difficult to not spot a kingfisher if youre patient enough!

Happy Anniversary! And what a great way to spend it! The water in the opening footage was stunning showing the birds off to their very best. I live on the East Coast and only ever seen one barred warbler, but that was in the hand despite them being seen here quite regularly. I believe the skeins of geese flying over were pink feet and I wonder if the snow goose was going off to roost with them? So much great footage as usual, such a joy to watch. And I loved the 'Where ARE we goin'?' Which made me chuckle. Some lovely locations too. Brilliant! As for satnavs hey? Where would we be without them? really stuck! Erm....even with one! Sorry about that, thank goodness for the passer by!
