We have returned to the CP C&M Subdivision at Northbrook, Illinois. While we were there, not very many freight trains went through like we thought. Even though the action wasn’t what we anticipated, we still managed to not come home empty handed as only as five freight trains showed up while the Metra and Amtrak trains have dominated. Also, this was the perfect opportunity to go out trackside as the weather was finally in our favor to the point where the weather was tolerable for our crew. With all things considered, February was pretty quiet to us due to some weather conditions that didn’t allow us to survive the day. But we’re looking forward to the month of March as we will try to be more active than January and February combined. Our schedule for March will be posted just in time before February ends.
