Sub san is from NE but he didn't interrupt anyone or said anything considering the fact the he knows a lot about that topic than anyone sitting there. @@alecb84 india has freedom because of collective efforts of everyone. We got independent but there are some people who didn't get independence mentally. They are still subjects of British's divide and rule policy.
4:02 The inner line permit is for security reasons. It is there for some boarder locations like arunachal pradesh, ladakh etc. Recently GOI has made these ILP process easy and got rid of in some places (practically).
Northeast is different from the rest of India, because first of all, the people are mainly tribal, hence their culture is very unique. All the Northeast states are very beautiful with untouched nature's beauty(replaced "mainland", thanks for the clarity folks)
There is no concept of mainland in India and it's constitution. So please don't use that word , that's a Chinese concept. NE is as mainland as J&K and Tamilnadu.
Don't say mainland , it's not a correct term mainland term is used by hongkongers to address china who don't consider to be Chinese , they govern within themselves you can use region name like north , south , west , east . Because how we think we are different from north , every region / state think themselves to be unique .

@@alecb84 Tysm for writing this. And exactly Assamese is just a language a group of indo-aryan people used speak but apparently it became the state name, Assam as well. This person is just a stubborn fool I explained the same thing you did to correct them way before but they kept butting heads as they can't tolerate other people having more knowledge than them cuz it makes them upset. So I deleted that comment which consisted of their trashy replies that might confuse other Japanese people interested in NE and commented a fresh one but they came there to pollute it again with their shitty knowledge then I deleted it and re-commented. And this kept going on everytime I commented but not anymore. I let them go off, I chose to be the bigger person and let their idiocy shine to let everybody know what they are. While arguing they also said once to me they want to visit India "again" so I'm assuming they are a foreigner, a white kid perhaps? They are not even from our country! So of course we know far better than them about our heritage then they do yet they try to infuse us, the real people of the Northeast with their worthless piece of information lmao. I lived in Bishnupur, Manipur for an year. I saw Loktak lake. NE is absolute bliss. North eastern people are so nice and friendly.. Love from Himachal Pradesh. 🙏🙏

My relatives stay at Guwahati in Assam.My brother in law is also from Assam, it's a great place to explore and I personally love Bihu dance (dance form of Assam). I visited Assam with my parents when I was a kid. I loved this video, it's great 👍🏻
That last segment reminded me of my Japanese friend who would buy and eat Samosa everyday even though his face would get red, eyes would start tearing up but he brought it and ate it everyday after work. It was very amusing to see.
That just a tipping point In northeast we have war memorial during japan invasion of northeast.. Even my grandad had received a medal from japan officer for thier bravery and contributing at that war. We have lot of discussion to talk...I cant wait to talk with you guys..
@u nd me! Japan did invade North-East. They wanted to make NE part of the Japanese Empire. That is why in the 1940s, during world war 2, British created the legendary Assam Rifles. In Kohima, Nagaland, the Assam Rifles defeated the Japanese. The war memorial in Kohima can still be seen.
For your kind information: Darjeeling is in north east region of India( near Sikkim and Bhutan) but do not belong to northeast state. And btw Guwahati is the biggest city of Assam..!! 😬🤭
You guys are the best. Most people usually ignore North eastern part of India and even a person living in southern part of India like me feel that our countrymen in NE aren't given the importance that they are worthy of. North East wasn't very well connected with rest of India intentionally because of strategic reasons. Neglecting the infrastructure development in North East India was intentional, it was a buffer zone between India and China. (A very bad policy decision imo). The policy has changed now though.

Let's share a real history with japan. We have war memorial of japan at kohima...manipur and other state where cemetry of Japanese soldier and northeast people contribute at that time of war..

3:25 I’ll tell you why North-east India is home to indigenous people and ethnic tribes with unique culture and tradition, and comparatively our population is low as to the rest of India. And in order to protect our population from being overcome by the rest it is a defense mechanism I guess. In the past there were instances where the indegenous population from these states where overwhelmed by those not belonging to north-east. In order to safe guard our culture and tradition from extinction, the ILP system was brought to action. It was not too long ago that Manipur too fought for this system and after so many trifle with the govt. ILP was established

What he said is slightly incorrect. Only Indians will get inner line permit. For foreigners they have to apply for protected area permit to enter Arunachal pradesh for that you need your passport

You didn't mentioned about Shilliong,Cherrapunji,(Meghalaya),Tawang(Arunachal Pradesh),Raimona National park,Manas National Park,Sorolpara picnic spot,pepsu picnic spot kokrajhar District(Assam),Daojeng Udalguri District(Assam),Manipur,Nagaland etc etc there are many more famous & historical places in northeast India and you should prefere to go there
During the Second world War Our Manipuri People provided places to the Japanese warriors and with together fought against the British soldiers We have build Japan war Memorial Meseum places in our state Every year Japanese🇯🇵 people came in Manipur and pray for their freedom fighters Plz visit in Manipur Northeast India🇮🇳 We look so similar
Actually japanese and Manipur has history. A tight bond. When world war 2 happen netaji Subash Chandra Bose brought japanese soldiers to fight the British through Myanmar. But when they reach Manipur their ration ran out and we local help the japanese. Many died here and we built graves for them we even have japanese monument erected here by their families as they remember their forefather. This is one reason why japanese were obliged to help out NE indian and not just because of facial similarity.
I don't want to sound like a judgemental person but one fact is need to be corrected Darjeeling is in West Bengal , it is not a part of NE region. Btw enjoyed ur videos 💙
Japan invest in North east because they fought one of their fiercest battle in battle of imphal and Kojima in WW2....not just because of familiarity complex
