All native songs is good for all the people no matter what what tribe u come from especially when time's are bad and a family member leaves u always pray for every one no matter what...
I am an Australian, I simply find this magnificent. I have watched many of the Northern Cree singers videos as well as others. The vocal strength, energy, beat and passion given to each song is electrifying. I know if tried to sing like that I wouldn't be able to speak for a month.
Every morning when I listen to pow wow music. I thank god for making me an Indigenous man. The music electrifies me in a way where I am absolutely sure I was meant to be born this way 💪

I don't know how to describe the feeling I had while hearing this music, but damn, my heart. I don't know why, but I want to cry. It touches my soul deeply. Thank you. Even if I don't know what you are singing.
I love you guys!! Besides my people northern Cree singers!!! You two are running neck and neck!! Thank you for your music. Y= 7/8 Chippewa Cree from Rocky Boy Montana. A'HO
Eh no? Did humanity brought these people to genocide? I have nothing against Kelley but saying saying that this is her heritage as white is just disrespectful.
@@HannesGlans Wait all three of you have no idea what you are talking about, just stop let the woman enjoy if she wants too. commenting like you have the slightest idea of how native americans feel about sharing their culture is disrespectful.
Kelly, enjoy it, let it feed you back to your roots. Go back to your ancestry. Your ancestors have something to share with you. If they aren't from this continent (which I'm assuming they're not) look to where they are from. ALL cultures on earth have great variance, and depth, and roots in where they are from, from the land. Sadly, white folks in this country, our heritage is rooted in the domination of this land and the domination of people. Go back to your roots my friend. Go to the ancestry that had their culture because it was where their family was from. This music is for us to enjoy, but it is not for us to take as our own. As sons and daughters of the colonists, we must look back to the old continent for our roots.
i was there lol i was just out of site...ive watched their youtube video for awhile but that was the first time i was actually able to see them and i was blown away by how amazing it was to feel the beat and hear the voices...just absolutely amazing
Yes me too...I get goosebumps... I just saw them a couple of days ago at Kettle and Stoney Point reserve....they came from the Junos (2019) and played for our very first Round Dance :) @@tinabickford8085
Simply the best song ever, congratulations to all the singers and the woman back up she is inspiring. First lead was the best and the guy in the yellow\black wearing the red baseball simply the best drummer. Very powerful everytime I hear it. 😂😂😂😂
Way back in 95` our drum had the pleasure in having these fine singer's sit with us in Montana. I have great respect to their humbleness they have for the people and the beat of hearts. Wopila tanka.
Im not native but I really like this song and even tho I have no clue what they are saying I try to sing along :) Northern Cree is a pretty badass drum group :)
Truly amazing! My body's genes may be of Viking heritage. But my spirit has lived a thousand lives elsewhere on this earth and elsewhere in this universe! That's why we love your music. Our spirit remembers! We are all brothers and sisters. Love you all. Take care!
Whatever color you are, you're not a true American 'till you've felt the native spirit in song. Indian Territory, Oklahoma Cherokee county. "home of Redman, no other man can take".
