As a proud Kilt wearing Scottish American from Detroit.......This music and these men(and woman) stop me in my tracks. I want to jump around and beat my chest and cry at the same time.....Just amazing and truly awesome.
I'm born in the U.S. and of european ancestry but I cannot understand why this music isn't more popular. I have no idea what is being said but the sound is amazing and natural!!!!
I am Seminole African Mexican. Language and culture are only a few things colonialism stole. Listening to this music dissolves the hate I feel. Hate destroys. I am so grateful for this healing.
Northern cree, I am a Mexican Apache but love your spirit and beautiful music and keep up your traditions and spirits blessings from earth and the heavens ♥️

Mike, Canada is in America. "America" is not the exclusive domain of the country known as "United States of America". To the rest of the world, America means "the continent that extends from Canada, by the North Pole, to Chile and Argentina, by the South Pole, and all the countries in between."

This is amazing! Could someone explain to me what they are singing about and the elements of this custom, please? It's so powerful and moving, I love it!
Blessing songs would sound slower and a bit more remorseful, at least the ones I heard, so it sounds like this could be fancy dance or jungle dress, or one of the many other dances out there
This is fascinating and hypnotic music. Some day I hope to see this in person. Why sometimes they put their hands on their ears? Also, is it possible that someone writes what they sing, both in the Cree language and in English?
