I had the pleasure of meeting him in Concord New Hampshire when the Highland Games moved from loon Mountain

As a piper, the dude was a force of nature. Floored me every time I heard him play.

I had the pleasure playing along side him at the Norfolk Virginia tattoo many a year back. He was amazing on the stage floor as well as laying on the pub floor haha.

Fantastic; some player.

He won this cometition, the former winners MSR on 11 occasions. The most anyone else ever won the competition was 6 times. Alasdair didn't win it on this occasion, but he did win the Northern meeting Gold medal that same day
