Awesome vid, heavily populated with smallies and pike, thats like my camp you catch a couple walleye here and there. Bass are good tasting too.

Great videos. I watched them all in preparation for our canoe trip this summer from Missanabie(Dog Lake) down to Mattice. I am impressed by the rapids you ran, particularly dropping over Sharp Rock Rapids and making it down Big Beaver.

I caught a great Walleye and lost my rod and reel in Z Drag. At Big Beaver Rapids we met the Missinaibi River canoeing Cree. They were going down river clearing the portages.

12:30 should have went hard right .... lol//// been looking up the shuttle train from Hearst to Peterbell... does that still work or was that part of that ACR train that cancelled passengers service in 2015 ?

nice one - Rheuben handles that kyak pretty good - and ur rapid skill are very good -- if u see this - mind if i ask what bow cover you are running on the canoe - txs and take care

You guys start all the way up by Moosonee? I ask because I assumed the water ran from inland out to the sea rather than toward Mattice... Or did the canoe trip start from even further inland (south) of Mattis? Very curious. I canoe here in north Ontario a lot, but have never done weeks at a time on the water in a row. Cheers from Rainy Lake and the Quetico/Boundary Waters canoe area :)
