Dude, you are captivating to watch! You have so much enthusiasm and energy. You are a fantastic speaker. Fast but not too fast, and your annunciation is great. You are like a baseball sports announcer with all the dead air edited out. Well done, sir.
HBD Buddy I fish because of you my friend Bob From New York now lives In FL never fished in New York came to Florida fish in freshwater ponds lakes rivers because of you thank you
I caught a snakehead at Little Seneca yesterday, had no clue what is was until I found your video. Got a great photo, thanks for sharing your video and happy belated bday!
Glad to see I'm not the only one that goes fishing on my birthday or any other chance I get fishing is definitely my drug of choice the only time I can escape all my stress of every day Life happy birthday keep fishing
At 4:20 you're like "Ohhhh, and he's off" ....lol......right after you whipped his ass from the east side of the lake to the west. Little did the poor bass realize that he was going wind sailing on your birthday. Dude looked like a torpedo. Funny stuff.
Clean em up, salt pepper and a dusting of corn starch and deep fry , wash em down with cold beer ( Repeat) at least 3 times 👍🏼 do often to deplete fish population....
New subscriber! My fiancé and I love your videos. They’re also oddly calming, like watching Bob Ross! Your enthusiasm and detail in what you’ve caught regardless of size, (or species in this case!), just make us smile! Keep it up and keep fishin!!
Hey Cornell! First of all, I wish you a happy happy birthday! My buddies and I always love watching your videos, always such a wholesome experience. Thanks for making these videos, it's always enjoyable to watch your newest upload!

I live in South Florida, and we don’t have the HUGE invasion of snakeheads like we did in my area, but they’re still out there. Floater frog lures get them. Freaking delicious fish, and they get really big here. All bull’s.
First off Happy B-day and Fathers Day!! But man... I didn’t believe there were snakeheads in little Seneca when we saw the sign at the boat ramp but I knew you would catch one eventually and film it for us so thanks Cornell
New to the channel and now am a subscriber. Great fishing videos! I just lost my chatterbait the other day so I'm going to look into those Finch Nastys!!
I’m 65 years old, I worked in a pet store when I was in my 20s, we sold snake heads back then. No one would have thought they would be turned loose in public waters.
@@brandonhenry9846 eating them is fine people here toss them on shore to bake in the sun thinking they are invasive when they are really native bowfin not snakeheads
Happy belated Birthday! Snakehead have received a lot of bad press over the years. Studies show that they appear to coexist well in the Potomac, but it is a different type of ecosystem. Blue catfish the biggest threat. Being in a lake could be a completely different result. They just started doing studies in Blackwater. It will be interesting to see the results. I've become addicted to Snakehead fishing. They are fun to catch and are delicious too eat.
There is a difference between an introduced species, like bass and trout, as opposed to an invasive species that out competes the local fish species, like snakeheads and blue cats do. While I agree that they do not seem to be the environmental threat they were advertised to be, over a period of decades they could very well do severe damage to gamefish populations. It remains to be seen if they begin to takeover in the local lakes to the point like they have on Maryland's eastern shore where that is beginning to happen. Think I'll probably have to go out and see if I can help stop them from doing that a bit. They are supposed to be very good eating.
@@davidmorgan7586 It is kind of strange they got into that lake. They can travel short distances across land wriggling like a snake, so it's not a surprise they got from the C and O canal into the Potomac river, or from streams, creeks and lakes from places near Blackwater Refugee where they became well established. But Seneca lake is a good distance from any other body of water. Maybe eggs or fry travel in bilge on boats that are used in the river and then launched there?More likely it's the same way they got introduced in the first place, someone had them in an aquarium or something, and they got too big for it so they just let them go.
@@davidmorgan7586 It is what it is. They guy probably didn't know any better. But he should have. Look whats happening everywhere, especially in places like Florida with all the invasive species taking over, like the pythons. At least you can eat the snakeheads.
@@SharingTheOutdoors I FEEL THE STATE AND THE PEOPLE WHO USE OUR GREAT OUTDOORS TO PUT A LITTLE MORE EFFORT AT CLEANING UP THE MESS MADE BY OTHER PEOPLE I THINK HERE IN FLORIDA THEY ARE PAYING PEOPLE TO HUNT THE PYTHONS BUT WHAT HAPPENS WITH THEM ONCE THEY ARE PAID FOR ARE THEY DESTROYED BUT AS IT IS WE NEED MORE PEOPLE TO KILL THESE FISH AN SNAKES IF WERE GOING TO MAKE A DIFFERENTS I WATCHED A VIDEO WERE A YOUNG GUY LET A SNAKEHEAD GO AFTER HE LANDED IT THE FISH WAS OVER 28 IN AND WAS A FEMALE JUST PLAIN STUPID IVE SAID ENOUGH BYE BYE

How have I not seen your videos before? I live nearby and just started fishing Little Seneca Lake and love it. Great video. Congrats on the snakehead, especially on your birthday.
Slamming the Bass out there , I so need to get back out there only been there once all year now . Didn't know Snakeheads are in there . Bet that one side full of plants next to the tunnel they are chilling shallow in that cover . Love your video's my brother . Would be awesome to fish with you one day . You always give such great information . You were so happy when that one was a snakehead . Lots of bow fisherman over by swains lock and a little bit farther down . Really good vid .
Happy birthday! I grew up fishing on Lake Erie. My first fish at the age of 5 or 6 was a 27" Walleye. A few years ago I caught a 30" Walleye right off of Sawmill in about 15' of water in June.
The DNR posted warnings of this fish up here in Wisconsin (mainly lake Winnebago), however, they can't reach any kind of extreme lengths because of the brutally cold winters up here. Somebody caught one on the Wisconsin River a few years back. The northern pike would've had that thing for lunch.
