At the end of another night of top Northern Soul tunes at the Civic in Mexborough, top laughs with good friends and average dancing, the "Sheffield Soul Family" hunted out some calories to replenish those just lost.
Minutes before closing, we descended upon this Take-away shop, slightly worse-for-wear. The staff asked where we'd all come from, we explained, they asked "What is Northern Soul", we plugged a mobile phone into their music dock . . . . . . . . . . and they still have no idea! ;-}}
