Oh boy, incoming pointless rant: Over the years, I've grown more tired of gaming communities in general, Reddit aside. I was the kid that was too good at video games so nobody actually wanted to play with me. Then early online gaming and internet communities happened. Grind-heavy MMOs were an awesome time-sink, but I would always play solo and keep interaction to quick questions on forums and message boards. Then the contemporary monetization methods were becoming regular, gamergate MRAs started becoming visible, and 'bad' US-centric politics always seem to enter chat. Not just in forums, but within any in-game chat too. It's just so tired knowing that one individual can flash their e-peen bad opinion for you to read if just for a couple seconds. Stuff like derogatory comments, death threats, and even mundane things like "game is glitchy = garbage" get parroted all over the place. Like, we all paid for Skyrim five times, come back with an opinion you didn't get from your favorite Twitch streamer's viral video or whatever. Nowadays I play all online multiplayer games with chat muted. Even something like League, which I can only bring myself to play 1 or 2 matches a week now, I mute all chat except for pings.

Ryan doesn't understand that the low sodium subreddits originated from r/lowsodiumcyberpunk because the main subreddit was so toxic that literally no one who liked the game even a little bit could actually enjoy it. Literally every post was just hating on the game.

"Why do you need to keep up with ALL the cosmetics" I've been saying that for years. Do these people walk into the grocery store and complain that it would be expensive to buy literally all the cucumbers, baloney and dog food? Didn't these little princesses learn that you can't have anything in life and that's okay?

-Buy a game for 60 dollars -Game sucks because of one major flaw -Complain about the major flaw -"Just go play something else then dude!" Yeah, I'll take my chances that another Dev will make the exact same game, carbon copy even, and fix that major flaw. Look, maybe ranting is annoying, but it beats the people who blindly support bad development and refuse to say a single negative thing which results in the game becoming even worse.
