acting was great all around- action was ok. I think the shots lacked the artistic style of the first movie in filmography and the movie didn’t do anything to build on the outlandish wow factor of the post apocalyptic world.

It felt like it was infected by Michael Bay. The older films didn't feel like unrealistic choreographed superhuman fights, this one had Furiousa shooting a grappling hook at a guy who catches it midair as he's jumping off a truck falling into a chasm, like Batman. It also could have done without so many call backs to the other films, it just took me out of it.

Yesterday I had to take a pee sample at the hospital because there was a concern my liver might be fucked (it probably isn't because the medication is working) and I pissed all over my hands and onto the floor because I couldn't move from back pain. I was so concerned about making sure none of the piss got onto the paper label on the outside of the cup and washing my hands that I've only just realised whilst watching this video that I forgot to mop up or flush the toilet.

Yeah, I actually get the music thing. I am SO fucking tired of the same generic songs that were popular decades ago being used in movies over and over again. Like... it was okay in the 80s, but boomers are fucking DYING now, use something else. No one is impressed or thinking, "How clever!" when you use the Beatles or a band from the 70s in movies with the lyrics being literally synched up with the content of the movie.

Man I feel so fucking SEEN by this comment, holy fuck. For me it's Mister Blue Sky. It's so overdone now that I just get very pissed off under the hood when I hear it but I'm not allowed to express it because people just don't get it. And I think it's Chris Pratt's fault because it's in a ton of movies that he's in too which makes me resent Hollywood because everyone loves the guy for some reason. Mister Blue Sky is to cinema now, what Bring Me To Life by Evanescence was to 2006 RU-vid.

NL with toilet paper infinity gauntlet be like: I am ungrossoutable My worst public restroom horror story is in a Casey's in Illinois where I found a literal mound of shit *in front* of the toilet and what's worse, a very clear pair of bootprints in them facing the toilet. So many things wrong here. Honorable mention goes to the Kroger bathroom where someone had stolen not just the toilet paper, but the entire apparatus it's attached to. Gotta get that nickel worth of scrap metal.

I worked in many grocery stores as a merchandiser for years and while traveling around my area, you just gotta go sometimes. By far, the worst bathrooms are at chain coffee shops, fast food joints and grocery stores with two single person toilets. I’ve seen so many tragedies in those places. Just find a nice lil cafe or furniture store and go there, y’all because nobody wants to be an asshole with a messy asshole while they’re there lol

Saw Fall Guy at the cinema and it was great. Very similar to "The Nice Guys" in tone and Gosling is fantastic as that sorta loveable fuck-up. Definitely glad I saw it, Furiosa was really good too. The industry needs to clean-up their shit with regards to hollywood accounting before having any issue with the films being created atm. Trailer wasn't very good for either of them tho, not how I make my decisions luckily.

Pretty jarring that such a huge movie buff seriously thought Mad Max with no Mad Max would be anything but an abject dumpster fire. It was niche to begin with. Replacing the main character with a girlboss has literally never gone well in the history of the industry.
