Beautiful! I just finished building this kit, but did not do any weathering on it nor, of course, did I make any diorama. So jelly right now, this is a work of art.

excellent piece of work,would have made base a little larger myyselfbut i,min no way calling the piece,have done a few sea dioramas ,Prince of Wales ww2,Uboat,wolf pack,like you I enjoy the challenge an it,s a great feeling when it comes together,I don,t video hav,nt got the know how lol,but realy enjoy watching the work and mind set,keep em coming,take care tilll next time

Great model, but little research would yeald some correct colours, like dark wood decks, not rusty. You would slip and fall in the sea!
