Northwest Coastal Artist: Art is the Language of our Ancestors 

Jaimie Davis is an multi-disciplinary artist from the Gitx̱san & Nisga'a Nations, her handcrafted Northwest Coast art is made under the label Jada Collection.
When Jaimie became a single mother she began considering a way to make an income at home while caring for her young son. She always loved creating things and felt a natural pull towards the path of an artist. Since starting the company, she has gone to school at the Frida Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art and continues to grow her business. In 2021 Jada Collection won 'Best Solo-preneur' at the 2021 Small Business BC Awards.
