Nice. Our club still does online auctions. It was great during covid but it has drawbacks. People are selling culls and often misrepresent their fish. Since it’s online, there’s no way to inspect the fish you are actually bidding on.
Online auctions are fun, we have a really kick ass online auction system in the northeast called auction.fish but nothing will beat getting to inspect the goods before dropping cash
@@Rews-fish-shed I didn't see you there, did you drop them off and split? I have a colony of them that haven't bred for me and they are adult size, so i thought i'd dig myself in a little deeper and try some new genetics, haha! do yours eat their fry? i have them in a species only 50g lowboy with plastic boxwood garland for cover but i haven't seen any fry in a year
@@gregjonesonline yeah I had issue I’m dealing with, really wanted to hang out. They bred fairly easy no special needs. I do have plant cover as far as moss, and few baring stem plants. As far as fry I have never seen them predate on their fry. Fry swim amount the adults with no problems. As far as food wide variety of flake food, frozen bloodworm as well as green beans French cut of course.
