Schools, roads, infrastructure generally, in a poor state of disrepair and in need of modernisation in many instances. But they have a trillion-dollar oil fund to brag about instead. And an imaginary sum of artificial wealth per capita jotted down on a piece of paper. Successive Norway governments have clearly squandered the chance to invest in Norway and focused almost entirely on a BS oil fund instead. Meanwhile, as the Norway government make unprecedented profits from its oil economy, hardly a drop twickles down to Norwegians. Vikings by name, vikings by nature. 👈
