What do they mean by idle reverse? How do airlines decide to use idle reverse or reverse with a percent

Hi +munkboy17 Idle reverse is when you have the reverser activated at the lowest possible reverse setting. Arilines does use their own app ( Not avaiable for the public) to calculate how long/short the runway is. If they are heavy and land at a short runway they use max reversers to quickly slow down. If they are light and land at a short runway they use idle reverse.
