Flight Report onboard Norwegian Boeing 787-9 Betwin Nice Cote d'Azur (NCE) and Oslo Gardermoen (OSL).
The plane was a brand new Boeing 787-9 painted in tribute to Freddy Mercury.
Notice the empty cabin in the back and the nice cabin,mood lighting before landing.

I was on the same aircraft 18. August, and the captain told the passangers that this was the 2nd commercial flight on that aircraft. A great experience!

i hope so AHAHHA because i flew with them in 2013 when they got the 787 but they got the batery problem so they put an a340 hi fly for ARN bkk was so sad ahahaha

Nice trip report! But I can't understand, why does Norwegian use 787-9 on this route? There no so much passengers.

Константин СПб Thanks you! I heard form the cabin crew that it's very often full, they use the 787 in summer on this route because of the amount of tourists from scandinavia visiting the French Riviera.

I asked the crew that same question when I flew the 787-8 on the same trip in May. They told me it was to train the 787 pilots on short haul sectors before they were deployed on the long haul legs.

Matthew Tasker I also taught like and asked them about it but they told me that mostly it's because of the high demand between Oslo and Nice and Malaga. So it must be both reason
