The Ballad of Sinclair (Sinclairvise) is a Norwegian folk song written in 1781. It tells the story of the legendary Battle of Kringen, Norway, which took place in 1612. The ballad gained widespread popularity in Norway and was eventually recognized as a patriotic folk song.
