I was a crew member ...engine repairman...2006-2007.when she was Pride of Hawaii...She was still being built when i came onboard Feb 2006 in Papenburg Germany..

I was a crew member on this very ship when it was brand new and named "Pride of Hawaii." Thank you for the video, it brought back so many memories from 2006. You missed footage of Alizar and Papa's Italian Kitchen Restaurants. One day, I hope to return to this ship as a passenger. So wild this see these spaces again.

My first ever cruise was on-board this cruise ship. Wow how this ship has changed!! I will never forget it, I still remember what this ship looked like before this latest update to the ship.
yep my first cruise too. they had so much pink and magenta crushed velvet decor in one lounge including a double 'love' seat which we comandered a lot of the time. Glad theyve kept the comfy feet up chairs to relax on - albethem single now
9 years ago Norwegian Jade was my first cruise experience!! 2008, her first season in Europe!! She still keep those wonderful colours everywhere along the ship!! everything looks fresh, colourful, alive!! The only area I think got worst it's the pool area! No more slide for kids and too much space, quite empty actually! Anyway, I'd love too come back aboard to visit her still!! Btw, Great footage!! 👍😉

Thank you so much for this very informative video about the NCL Jade. My husband Grant Saunders is a stage Hypnotist and is performing at The Stardust Theatre in June & July 2017. Unfortunately I could not go with him got two fur baby's Elmo & Hercules (cats) to look after. At least I can watch this detailed video and see where he is staying & working that week his away. So my only cruise was on the Norwegian Wind in July of 1999. We are scheduled for the Getaway in July 2019. So this ship - The Jade - reminds me of the Wind. Small and more intimate.

Great video and report, guys. We've only been on the Epic before but Jade looks much brighter and has an Art Deco feel, which I love. We're thinking of going on the Jade next year on a TA and this has made it even more likely!
We cruised on the Jade in the Med in 2013 (pre-refit). Thanks for a great video in-sight on what she's like now. Will definitely have to find a cruise on her again soon.
Another great video! I'm fairly certain this is a sister ship to the NCL Jewel, which I went on last year. I believe it is also scheduled for a refurbishment.
Great video tour, thanks! I couldn’t find much info on the Jade until seeing this. I booked one of the deck 8 aft “penthouse suites with large deck” for a Jan 2020 cruise out of Singapore. I didn’t see one mentioned in the video, how are they?
Not only the slide, they changed everything in the pool area! Very much poor, no colour, too simple, too bored! Even the lamps as Palm Trees were removed! I've been on board in Sep 2008, just after, when she came from Hawaii to be based in Europe and was completely different! Also the ceiling on Aloha bar, the main area on the ship, is much more simple now! All the Ship was full of vibrant colours and tropical feeling! Now might be more modern and updated to European standards but sucks! Honestly sometimes I don't get these restyling's from the companies! Anyway, nice footage and review!

We just got off the Jade's 14 night cruise around the Caribbean and I can't warn people away from this cruise hard enough. Boring, poorly laid out, and the dining options are terrible.
