Thanks for the video! I’m going on the Pearl on a Sixthman charter for the 311 Day Cruise (311 the band) in 2 weeks. It’s my first cruise ever! Are the pools and hot tubs open all night or 24/7? When does the one pool get covered, only when there’s a show happening on the pool deck, or the entire day that there will be a show on the pool deck? I know 311 is playing during the day on one day. So would the stage get broken down and that pool be opened back up after the daytime show is over? Are the pools heated? Are only the hot tubs open at night? Finally, can you pack up leftovers and bring them back to your cabin, or are you meant to leave what you don’t finish or throw it out? Sorry for the numerous questions and thanks in advance for replying!
@@LaineyTsang Sorry, I’ve not had Wi-Fi because I’m on another ship 😂 Anyway, thanks for the question: The pools and hot tubs will close in the night and reopen each morning. The pool is usually covered for the duration of the cruise as other bands will play on it. The other pools will be heated. Yes, you can take food from anywhere you like back to the cabin, even food you’ve bought on shore in many cases. Where is your cruise off to? I’m sure you will have a wonderful time.
@@ALifeintheParks Thanks for replying! Hope you enjoyed this last cruise you were on when I first wrote to you. I suppose it’s the smaller, kids pool that gets covered for bands? Because that would suck a lot, if the main/large pool is shut for the entire cruise! It better not be! I plan to pretty much never exit the pool (until I have to when it closes for the night). We’re sailing from Miami, stopping at NCL’s Harvest Caye in Belize and Roatan in Honduras. Very excited!!
Yes thanks, this one is very relaxed! There still places to go for a dip and there’s nothing like watching a live band from a hot tub. I’ve not been to Routan but I did visit Harvest Caye so if you’d like to see what that’s like I have a video all about it on my channel.
We cruised on the Pearl in 6/2016 from Seattle to Alaska ❤. It was dated then, but a great ship!!! The Spinnaker lounge looks great now. It had old couch beds that I would never have used. Love the new modern look. Fantastic job with the tour! The Pearl is the only cruise we’ve ever done. Watching this video makes me want to take another cruise ❤
The Spinnaker was like that went I first cruised on the Pearl but when I returned this had changed as had the cabins and some of the decor in the public spaces. She’s a wonderful ship and I do like the size, it’s too easy to get lost on these huge newer ships 😂 Alaska looks so incredible, that must algae been a wonderful experience? I hope you get to go on another cruise, they’re so much fun.
I've been on 3 full-charter theme cruises aboard this same ship; 2016 was the Moody Blues Cruise; 2023 and 2024 were "On The Blue Cruise" headlined by Justin Hayward. Someone in our group described it as a 5-day floating Woodstock, with beds, bathrooms and food!
darn just missed the premiere, never heard of themed cruise before sounds fun! nice tour of the ship, and most importantly, the food 😋 too much pressure to hit the shot lol🏀 thanks for sharing ✨
Themed cruises can be like Disney Cruise Line, this ship has lots of different themes around a wide variety of interests and then there’s ones which some additional entertainment is added. I’ll probably make another video explaining it all because there’s lots to explore. Thanks for watching
Fantastic ship tour! It looks like an incredible ship. My favorite part is seeing all of the delicious foods hehe. I love the idea of themed cruises too, that’s so neat! All of the different restaurants and buffets are making my stomach growl 😂 yum!! So many great food options. Lots of things to do on the ship! Shops, arcades, art gallery, shows, you certainly can’t be bored! Looks like such a great ship, we haven’t sailed on Norwegian yet but looks like a great option. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Many thanks Meg, editing the food shots is the most difficult because I want to keep raiding my fridge. As you know, cruising is so much fun there’s always so much going on you can just chill out. Norwegian have been great both times so I highly recommend them, I would love to go on one of their new ships. Many thanks for watching ☺️
Hey buddy. Really enjoyed this straight into it, great pace. Interesting to see the difference between the older Norwegian ships and whistle and bells of new ones. This looks classy and one for foodies. Really interesting with pool being covered for shows on themed cruises. Disappointed we didn't see your karaoke! Almost at 1000!
Many thanks, I really want to cruise on one of their newer ships. Have you been on a themed cruise? It’s definitely a different experience. Maybe I’ll put up my karaoke videos when I finally get to 1,000 subs 😂😂
You really did have the place to yourself, incredible! It’s so great to have low crowds on a ship! This is a beautiful ship, we will have to branch out eventually from Disney cruising!
You've done such a phenominal job explaining not only the ship on a normal sailing but also noting about themed cruises! I actually work for a themed-cruise production company and would love to share this resource if that is alright with you?
Hi there, many thanks for the kind words. Please feel free to share the video, I really enjoy themed cruises as they were my introduction to the industry. I had been on a few different ones now and I think they are such a great experience. If there is anything else you would like from me please let me know.
What a Beautiful Ship! I'd definitely be spending time in the Mandora Spa! Nothing like Live Entertainment at the Pool Deck!!!!!! Excellent Tour as Always !:-)
My Friend!!! Are you sure you're not a Part Time Cruise Director?!? Lol You do such a Phenomenal job making Everything look and sound Amazing!!! I actually had to Stop my hand from reaching deep in my pockets to book a Norwegian Cruise!!! Lol!!! Early in the video I had to Rewind when you mentioned what music you liked...I thought you said Rap music instead of Rock!!! Lolol.....nothing wrong with rap but it didn't seem like your cup of tea!!! Of course, I could be wrong!!!😁🤙👊
Ha ha, I’m a rock music guy but I like lots of different types of music. I wish I was a full time Cruise Director especially on a ship that’s somewhere nice and hot. Many thanks for watching, I appreciate the support as always
Cruise ship is huge bigger than city building... NCL has so many beautiful features, food is awesome... it's an awesome experience to take a cruise I think. Thanks for sharing my friend.😊😊
I'm cruising on this ship in 2 days going to Bermuda. Thanks for the tour! I think I'm going to spend a lot of time on that deck on the back of the ship. Looks like an amazing view to get lost in!
Nicely done tour. Just checking future sailings and found the Pearl will host a nudist cruise out of Miami February 2025, that will be interesting! Need to talk to wife about that.
This looks like a really beautiful ship. Disney needs to update their resorts to be this beautiful and I will be more than happy to spend my money to stay there. HAHAHA. LIKE 29. 👍👍👍
That’s the class of Norwegian I want to try next, I have Cruise Next money burning a hole in my pocket. I will definitely try the Teppanyaki when we sail next, looks so much fun.
Nice video, it looks like a beautiful ship. We fancy booking on the Prima, but we want no fly and they only seem to do that one way from the UK. So will have to keep on looking.
Great video. I'm going to be going on this ship later in the year for a heavy metal music festival. I'm very excited. I've never been on a cruise before so I'm finding this video very informative.
You are going to have a great time, themed cruises are a fantastic way to start as the entertainment will be exactly what you want and the other cruisers will have very similar interests to you. I’ve been on 2 rock themed cruises and honestly they were incredible. Which bands are looking forward to seeing on your trip?
@@ALifeintheParks it the headbangees boat cruise with Lamb of God, Testament, municipal waste, lucuna coil, gwar, vio-lence, malevolence etc. I'm most looking forward to Testament because I'm an old skool thrasher at heart. It's the first time going to the USA. I'm from the UK.
That’s going to be amazing, I met Testament at Download a few years back. Nice guys. And being British will mean that the Americans will be amazed that you’ve travelled all that way and themed cruises are much more friendly anyway.
@@ALifeintheParks I love Download. The last time I went was 2019. I find it a bit to walk around now so I generally go to Bloodstock. Seeing that we are going all that way for the headbangers boat we are spending a few days to see friends who live in the Florida panhandle area then flying down to Miami and spending a few days there before going on the cruise. It's going to be a big holiday.
@@alwolfy1782 Oh I get that, I’m knackered by the Sunday 😂 Have a great time in the Panhandle, it’s beautiful there. Have a fantastic trip, sounds like it’s going to be incredible.
Thank you for the outstanding video. April 2024 will be our first cruise. We’re setting sail with our favorite and the best band. Midland. We can’t wait! Ventura Midlandero 🤠🤠🎸🎸🎸🎸🛳️🛳️🛳️
I did Vh1 Best Cruise Ever on Carnival and the Southern Rock Cruise on this ship. I also was also on Comedy Stars on Princess. With the deals available on cruising from Florida I’m surprised you’ve not been on one. Lots of drinks to try. I’ll save that for my 100,000 subscriber milestone! 😂😂
how nice it is i hope i will go on a cruise boat at least once in this life did you have everything included? And how much would it cost for a week to say? Well, it matters where you're going from.
On this cruise everything onboard was included in the price. Cruises can be as cheap or as expensive as you like but around €100 per person per night is good. Thanks for watching.
@@pbe2376 No reservation needed as it’s Freedom Dining. The dress code is very casual, we even worse jeans and a t-shirt one night but usually trousers and a shirt or a skirt and blouse.
