Blindowl Music Videos are created with an emphasis on learning/education, and are generally different than most other videos on U-Tube in that they are historically accurate and more akin to a "time-capsule", than a music video. All are created from scratch and nothing is ever copied from another video that is on U-Tube. A lot of research is done in the making of a "Blindowl Video", so you can rest assured that all the information presented is correct. I hope you enjoy my videos and like, subscribe, and comment on them.

Blindowl Music Videos (The Rubber Soul sessions part two). The second song attempted by the Beatles for their "new" LP "Rubber Soul" was recorded on October 12th, 1965. The Beatle's first attempt was a complete version and just fine as it was. Originally titled "This Bird Has Flown" it was changed to "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) when the song was re-made on October 21st, 1965. I will make videos of all of those version too but I am doing "Rubber Soul" chronologically. This was the first time the sitar was used on a Beatle's recording, and the first time a sitar was ever used on a pop/rock record as well. A ground-braking piece of history. This changed the music scene quite a lot after it was released. Many rock bands then started to use the sitar on their records (some were good, some not so good), but innovative at the time.
I hope you enjoy this video, some of the photos are from the "Rubber Soul" sessions but not specifically during the recording of this song.
Thanks for watching!!!
