I have had the pleasure to attend one of their concerts in the town I live in in The Netherlands, in February 2020, just a few weeks before the whole world locked down. I went with my dad as a birthday present and we had a wonderful evening. They played Abbey Road, Let it be and parts of Sgt. Peppers. It was phenomenal. The sounds was perfect, including all the weird and typical sounds the Beatles used in their later work. I don't like cover bands that dress up like the Beatles or fake a nasal voice sound to imitate John and meanwhile the sound of the instruments is miles off. The Analogues really hit the nail on its head, over and over again. I planned to attend their final concert of the Abbey Road tour in the Ziggo Dome (Ansterdam) in the summer of 2020, but for obvious reasons that fell through. I hope for everyone in the world, but here especially for every artist (and those who work in the entertainment business) the Covid pandemic will be stopped this year and I hope we can enjoy your art soon again.
I swear once this is over I’ll travel to anywhere in the world just to see these wonderful people. Shit they could have a show on the space station and I’ll still find a way to get there. This is something that won’t happen again.

I know little about music other than what I like so if I sound ignorant here, well... I am. But since 1965 I've loved how Paul's voice sounds an octave (?) or two higher than John's when they harmonize (?) over the bridge (?) The one doing Paul's part does it absolutely brilliantly. That guitar actually sounds like a sitar. I am totally impressed with the Analogues.
As tribute bands go these gentlemen are peerless, considering they are not even singing in their native tongue. They have captured the unique Beatles sound ensuring the music will last another 50 years.

One of the most hauntingly beautiful songs that JOHN wrote. I would use an acoustic like a Martin HD-35(or acoustic bass),that has a higher bass resonance, which would help bring out the fullness of the acoustic guitar aspect of this beautiful song. This is NOT a criticism, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Only a suggestion. Peace
Just for your information as you might not know: The Analogues try to bring studio quality by using 'Original instruments' as much as possible. I am convinced they done that with this intsrument alike.
Mid-late-60's. My junior high teacher denigrated all the popular music as just saying the same things over and over again (not anything new, BTW). So I fed him these lyrics. I honestly forget the outcome.
They are playing the most beautiful beatles song so beautifully. I was so impressed by the strings unit. Please someone let me know the name of the unit or their each names!!!
what we have are Beatles recordings, but Analogues show us how the performance would be with instruments and arrangements. compare it to an orchestra playing Mozart or Beethoven.
if a body ever wondered why the Beatles are so revered in music history they just need to ask themselves why such talented musicians as these and countless others devote their time to covering their songs
