Hi! I am 24 and my nose is quite pretty. Since I have to get done some functional changes I am considering some minimal changes to make it better. I don’t know if it’s wort it (because as they are minimal maybe I was thinking on do some fillers). Anyways, my concern is that I wear kind of heavy glasses but my eye doctor told me I have to wait for eye surgery because it keeps going up. So.. would you advice me to wait till my vision stabilizes, get that procedure done and THEN get my nose done? I am afraid the weight of my glasses alter my nose job. I don’t wear much contacts because I work all day at my computer and they irritate my eyes..

@@mariamorenavicente lightweight glasses aren't usually an issue for a rhinoplasty, but this is truly dependent on an in-person consultation.

You are so lucky not to need one. I grew up pretty much hating myself due to my nose. I wanted a nose job since I was about 11. Everyone else thought I was beautiful, but I felt so inferior to other girls with nice noses. I am so glad I finally got it done.

I’ve been checking rhinoplasty before and after pictures by many plastic surgeonsfor a very long time. For 12 years I had a favorite surgeon (operating in Chicago). Today I just changed my mind. I’ve never seen such harmonious, great looking and elegant results as yours!

This doctor fixed my nose. The previous surgeon in LA actually made my nose more masculine - making the top larger - with pieces of silicone in it. I finally have a nose I like but I believe plastic surgery is addictive - look what They did to Marilyn Monroe ? I am thinking about tinkering with it - but I shouldn't !

I got a nose job when I was 18. It changed my life, and the more years that go by, and the more nose jobs I see, the more I realize that my surgeon was a genius. This doc does amazing work as well. Mine was closed.

I never bothered covering my bruises, it was super obvious something was up lol. And I was honestly so happy with the resuslts and was actually proud of my bruises. I could see she had done exactly what I wanted. She also did a sinus surgery at the same time, and that first breath I could take with the tampons out, it was so nice I cried a little. 🥺

I have huge nostrils which I been made fun of all my life and I will be 60 this year, and severe deviated septum, which gives me anxiety because I can’t breathe especially wearing a mask. also my nostrils go up on sides of nose and you can see inside. Although I have no hump I’m sure I would have to have open operation. I always feel like people are looking at my nose. I had a couple of quotes for 10,000 but that’s completely out of my budget. You are a talented and skilled artist. I appreciate your videos and the knowledge you impart

I like others had a closed rhinoplasty 50 yrs ago! I had an amazing surgeon and have loved my formerly badly broken skewed nose ever since...my nose had to be broken. He wanted to add a chin implant and I should have done that too as my chin recedes somewhat...he knew what he was talking about...love my nose and face!

I had an open rhinoplasty some years ago which I'm very happy with, because I had a very long tip but it was extremely boxy from the front, the whole thing was just ugly on so many levels.. My question would be how on earth would a closed rhinoplasty deal with that since it was predominantly about refining the entire tip and making it smaller?

I just saw photos of Barbara Eden throughout her life and was shocked to see her original nose. It was larger than average. She had a major nose job when she was quite young - gotta love plastic surgery. This is man is the best for noses. He fixed mine 2 years ago. 😉

These videos are always so interesting. 2 questions. If closed Rhinoplasty is more effective, why do surgeons still do open? Also, would a closed rhinoplasty be more expensive due to overall better results?

I need a nose job badly but my insurance called it an elective surgery and I can't afford it. (At least they did 10 years ago last time I tried to get it fixed.) I have a new job now with different insurance but I'm afraid I'm going to be told the same thing again. I broke my nose falling down a flight of stairs in high school (around 2006) and to this day I still have a deviated septum along with some type of periodic clear nasal drainage.

I talked to my mom about getting a rhinoplasty because my nose is crooked and I have problems breathing because she had it done after being bucked of a horse when she was younger while talking about it then I learned my aunt had a tummy tuck! I got closed rhinoplasty and let me tell you this; -My eyes were bruised for 3 weeks (cause my blood pressure increased during the surgery for no particular reason which lead to intense bruising according to what my doctor said) -I had intense bleeding, I even had to go to ER in the next day (this is because the silicon tampon caused me allergy and I sneezed like 100 times a day which led to bleeding) - My nose was swollen for 1.5years straight, I even got shot to the tip of my nose 2 times after 1 year in order to reduce swelling. And in the end my nose is not slim as I wanted, it's asymmetric and I'd definitely have open surgery if I knew I'll go through that much issue. I guess at least it won't be asymmetric as it is now.

Yes, I actually recommend that a patient does these procedures together as it's easier to hide the lip lift scar inside the nose.

Why do so many women have the exact same nose? They all seem to have a flipped up tip that looks square. After my sisters surgery, I noticed so many women that had the same nose. Is there something in LA that women strive for?

There can be many contributing factors for a similar aesthetic. Patients have similar beauty goals, but I think the more likely culprit would be surgeons not customizing each rhinoplasty to fit the patients' face.

I had rhinoplasty...closed 50.yrs ago.and it changed my appearance for the better..it had been broken by a football thrown hitting me in the face when I was 10...it canted to.the side...fixed that and took the borken look away and made itmis just a little smaller which suited my small facial bones features.

And doctors need to specify if they specialize in ETHNIC RHINOPLASTY. I had my done by the “1# Rhinoplasty Surgeon in the Bay”, and he used ear cartilage which shifted and made my bridge crooked! I just had a virtual consult with a surgeon in Turkey.

I had a rhinoplasty and it was wonderful 50 yrs ago..it changed my life. My first husband was Italian with a large nose...good looking I thought we had a son who got an average size nose...a handsome man now. My second husband had a large somewhat hooked nose. He looked Greek or Middle Eastern...I thought him handsome. Our daughter got his large nose but she never wanted to change it and I never brought the subject up bec she adored her father who died when she was 7. She has a distinctly ethnic look...not as MIddle Eastern looking as her father who was Slovak. I am a very WASPY looking blonde woman the type everyone wanted to be when I was young. I did not WANT a pretty boy looking man...the kind who look like models or movie stars. I wanted a man who was rugged whose face had character...I was feminine with a small doll like face and features...so dont sell your attractiveness short.mYou are goodlooking! MANY women LIKE substantial noses on their men! I liked the noses on all three of my husbands including the last to whom I have been married 40 years...He is still a gorgeous rugged looking manly man as are you...wishing you a lifetime of happiness.

See 13:34 - she looks fake - too much plumping in lips and cheeks - not subtle at all. Dr. Motykie, I don't see this as a success - she looked better before. A young person such as this doesn't need all that filler. And what's up with that hiked-up eyebrow, lol! It looks like the tip of her nose was corrected and that was a win, but...
