I would like to see a video about weight distribution on a bike. For exampe: I tried to ride a steep drop and shifted my weight back to early so it made me do a nose wheelie down the hill by accident (very scary). I don't know if this is too basic for you and your viewers. Greetings from Germany.

Just make sure your elbows are never lock out on your bike. If you elbows are bent you will not be out over the back of the bike and will not suffer a slingshot over the bars when you front tire drops over the hill.

Awesome video as always! I would love to see some more trail breakdowns maybe also instead of different lines, comparing the times taken for different techniques. I like the different techniques idea. I think practicing when oxygen deprived helps you ride better when it happens in a race or something. And just riding carefully and trying to bring yourself back into a steady state.

A video on preparation and training in these months leading up to race season would be sick. Now that the off season is over, riding is more frequent, where is your mind at on day-to-day rides in March/April? Are you ripping race pace on all your rides? How to do you perfectly time your physical and mental peaks so you ride to your full capabilities come race time? Your raw race POV videos are pretty epic. Narrate your favorite training trails and give us some mental insight to your path into race reason. Thanks man!

I'd love to see a video on how to handle going off rock drops slowly. I have no problem going off small drops at speed, but I have difficulty going off when going slow, like maybe you're rolling up to a feature thinking you can roll it, but then seeing that it's too steep or to high to just roll off, but now you don't have much speed. Or maybe the terrain leading up to the drop or after the drop doesn't allow for much speed. And the problem seems worse if the lead in to the drop is already at an incline. Thanks in advance!

Hi Jesse! Great Video and insight! Keep up the good work! Any chance you can share your experience on riding in different terrain? I started riding in the the rocky janky northeast (New England) and am now riding in the super dry moon dust of Lima, Peru. While I feel comfortable on some trails, there are other trails that steep and loose... sends me for loop. Any suggestions on how to ride different terrain?
@JesseMelamedMTB

I honestly think it's just experience. You are doing what you need to be doing just by experiencing different terrain. Try to session sections so you slowly practice how hard you can ride the terrain/ground.
