Also, a new trailer for a film called THE BEAST WITHIN dropped and it has the actor for Jon Snow from GOT starring in it that you guys should check out! Creature features are back, baby!!
As a vampire lore fanatic, I was trying to contain my expectations of Nosferatu. The trailer definitely has me looking forward to being seated this. I can wait on seeing the full reveal of Bill Skarsgard😮
First time seeing your channel, just watched this amazing trailer on repeat for an hour, I cannot remember the last time I was this pumped up by a teaser trailer. Subscribed!
I’m with you-I’d like to not see what he looks like before the movie comes out! Definitely not gonna watch anymore trailers, I’m good with this one. Will be hard to avoid anything else… im sure they’ll plaster a photo of him on all the horror headlines when they release one.
You already know we’re going to have to try our best to avoid it like the plague! Definitely don’t need to see him in a trailer. Just want to experience it in the theater!
It reminded me a bit of Francis Ford coperla's 1990s film Dracula . But I'm definitely excited for this modern remake. I saw the 1922 silent film and it was by far my favorite vampire film .
Both those films are so undeniably good! And what the 1922 silent film did- the storytelling was so captivating. I don’t think AJ has seen that one but he’s seen the Dracula one. We’re both expecting this to be one of, if not the best horror film of the year.
You can hear Ralph Ineson’s voice say “He is coming.” Also, it’s hilarious that you brought up the set design and costumes because those are both production areas that Eggers worked in before becoming a director.
We went back and rewatched it at least 5 times 😂 We caught Ineson the 2nd time. AJ was so loud, I missed it before! And thanks for that little fact! We didn’t know that! But now that you mentioned it, we can definitely tell from this and his previous films. Thanks for watching!
Love this trailer and am looking forward to Nosferatu. BTW The shot of the shadow reaching over the town is a reference to another great Murnau film, Faust (1926). Great work, glad that you're hyped, too.
I'm not a trailer guy, but that was a really good one. I'm glad they didn't give too much. I don't need to see Orlock until I'm in the theater watching the actual movie, but that could be just me. Great reaction!
This movie wasn't really on my radar but the trailer is so GOOD. Robert Eggers is perfect for a gothic tale. The operatic tone reminds me a little bit of Coppola's Dracula except this isn't the love story version.
The setting , tone, time period and environment of this movie is reminiscent to the early Universal Pictures horror classics by Boris Karloff (Frankenstein), Bela Lugosi (Dracula) and Lon Chaney Jr (The Wolfman)!.It has an old school and classic vibe!
This trailer looks amazing 🖤 And your guys react so well! 😊 But I recommend all people who have not seen the original Nosferatu film from 1922 and the 1979 version films, see those films before they see this new version. So that they can understand this Vampyr film is the true inspirer original story of Bram Stoker's original Dracula story.
