This video covers the announcement of ADG brass for the 6.8 Western as well as my load development results with the Nosler 150 Ballistic Tip with Hodgdon H1000 using CCI 250 primers and Winchester Brass. Please consult with published load data prior to your own load development as what works for me in my rifle may be dangerous in your rifle.

Excited to see your tests on the 156 grain Hammer Hunters. I had pretty good results from 59 grains of Reloader 26, 3025 fps in a 24" proof barrel, but had some stiff bolt lift. Wanted to try H1000 next, but have not gotten around to it yet. Used data from the Barnes site to work up a load.

Ok I hunted last year with 6.8 western with 150gr nosler partition and the performance was fantastic 62.5 h1000. We are still working on the final load but thar was a great combo for whitetail

ADG will run brass in 8 months

⁠@@jamesbailey7227 I was going by Unknown Munitions that they will start receiving ADG brass 6/24/2024. I was under the impression that they had already started production others as well. I need to email them again and confirm. I don’t want to spread wrong information. Either way, I’m looking forward to seeing good quality brass for the Western.

Noticed a couple of those 4th shot flyers. Maybe you didn’t pull it, maybe barrel was a tad hot?

Thankyou for the videos, i was wondering if you could give me some more info on the 162 hammer hunters, as far as oal and did you ever get pressure signs with the h4831

I saw pressure signs at 61 grains of H4831SC. I think I'm also having mild pressure signs at 60 grains, but it's not bad. OAL I'm running with those is 2.892-2.895.
