Not Necessary BOM & BLR have two EK flights ( one with 330 and one with 777 ) DEL has 2 EK Flights ( 330/340 and 777) but recently EK flies once a day to DEL on 380
I just mentioned Sydney as a suggestion, of course its other carriers than Air India that has connections. Now the new terminals at Delhi and Bombay probably makes it much nicer to connect and wait between domestic and international..theold way of changing terminal was awful I think.
Air India turned this airport into a backwater....international carriers have neglected this populous city for benefit of Delhi/bombay...thank god,Emirates & SIA started connecting lesser indian cities with the world..connecting in India used to be the same nightmare as in the USA...

Passangers want direct connections,not what a natioanl carriers dictates?? If you live in Calcutta and wants to travel to Sydney,do you want to travel to Bombay and spend the night there in the transit hall or fly to Singapore-Changi,wait a little in that pleasent airport and then continue?? Before,you had to catch a AI A310 on certain days,to connect at BOM???
absolutely , this shit city doesnt have connections to many important cities of the world and every metropolitan city has connections no on should live in kolkata the international fares frm this city is so high compared to other cities
