"people can understand animals if they take the time to listen" Better explanation than the moonbeams/teardrop bullshit in the OTHER animated Titanic flick
@@hughbathurst731 it was fun. It was a lot of work being on set bright and early and sometimes all the way into the evening. Then spending that nights memorizing the lines for the scenes that we would be filming the next day before bed. It was a lot. But over all a great experience.
Realistically speaking, theirs no way Gordy's parents would still have been alive after all of those months. His brothers and sisters maybe, but Mama and Papa pig would have been bacon by then.
As far as I know, they dont make bacon out of older pigs ^^, pig meat comes from what amounts to teenage pigs, the few adults being kept are just used for breeding :)
not only was there the "pig power in the house" music video on that DVD but! there was also THE MAKING OF the "pig power in the house" music video on that DVD!
the pigs owner would be able to use it.... I see what the grandpa might have been tryin' to do, unfortunately the kid didn't get the memo... or several hints, or the screaming fact of it being a pig. That... or the grandpa was incredibly senile...so so senile...
"People can understand animals if they take the time to listen." So I can't understand my dog because I have never once done anything that requires giving my dog my full attention, ever. Not the training, playing, grooming, or the times we've laid in bed together with me being perfectly silent while I wait to fall asleep.
Gsponge 22 Yes! It all makes sense now! Clearly I'm paying too much attention to my dog! If I want to hear him talk I have to ignore him much more, with occasional glances lasting no more than 5 seconds.
Three reasons why this is one of my favorite NC reviews: 1: I remember seeing this movie when I was really young, so it is, you guessed it, nostalgic for me. 2: That face at 10:44 XD 3: PIG POWER IN DA HOUSE!!!
I only saw this once in 3 grade during recess when it was raining, so we went and watched this in the auditorium. And that ONE TIME was ENOUGH for me 👊🏼
Gordy. So Disney. Universal keeps things consistent and they don't leave the village, making it believeable. But in Disney every second person is rich and famous, making it way too far-fetched
Remembering having this on vhs in our family vacation trailer. It was so bad but we were so lazy we watched it multiple times. Thats what vacations were like before the internet kids!
I never heard of Gordy, but I've seen Babe when I was 3. My sister and I bought Babe on VHS the following year after it's theatrical run and we still have it.
I would like to point out that Gordy did not come out first. Babe the film is based entirely on Dick King Smith's children's book 'The Sheep Pig' which came out twelve years before Gordy.
As a kid, I spent my summers at the slaughterhouse with my grandpa, herding cows and pigs into shock sticks and sharp-bladed machinery. The echoing sounds of squeals and the unmistakable smell of blood and fecal matter mixed together won't go away.
I don't hate Gordy, but I do think Babe is better. This was still a pretty hilarious review though. Great job, Critic! And before I go... PIG POWER IN THE HOUSE!
well... Gordy may have come out first, but Babe was originally a book by Dick King-Smith... but seeing as no one reads anymore or does all their research, lets just go with Babe being a rip off of Gordy... even though The Sheep Pig, or Babe the Gallant Pig, came out in 1983, rather than the Gordy movie, which was made in 1995... yet somehow... Babe is called the copycat film on wikipedia...
I just realized something. This was on one of his Fuck Ups. The scene where he gets yelled at by the pot. In the Fuck up episode, he says he had called the pan, a pot. The truth is he called it a pan, when it is a pot. He fucked up one of his Fuck ups.
To be fair, I live in the good ol' south (hill-billy hell) and yeah, this happens alot. talentless kids acting like the biggest country stars ever and we pretend its cool. It's a very accurate portrayal of southern culture
The rip offs can sometimes be better than the actual movie. Also the chicken's voice sounds like a person who is not a good voice actor trying to be one.
I laughed so hard at 6:07... Cause I was kind of thinking the same thing. I thought that if we didn't know that there was a pig under there, we would probably think that she was talking to her vagina. I guess another reason why it's funny is because pinky sounds like a nickname for a woman's vagina.
***** i'm a big fan, so i'd know. And yeah, the use of the whole song was annoying. They even poked fun of it once. when they were In Heaven, God said "btw, Conway Twitty said cut it out. Just tell a joke"
Yep. My friend doesn't know how to swim and he's 24. I told him all throughout high school that one day he'd fall in a body of water and regret that he didn't know how to swim. Then when we were just about graduated he fell in a pond at my girlfriend's house and I had to get him out. LEARN TO SWIM PEOPLE!! IT'S NOT EVEN HARD!
lasoogneypubes Couldn't you have just told him to avoid large bodies of water? Generally just avoiding something that can get you killed...it won't kill you.
I love how the pig is doing nothing, and that everybody around him is doing all the stuff, ruining the plans of the villians, and getting a fortune for him!
